This is very frustrating for me and although I've only been back in the hobby 6 months and these modern parallels and refractors are 100% new to me, I have opened 10-20 different modern sets and this is the first one I struggled identifying the refractors.

I'm going to take a base and refractor all over the house and outside to see if I can find any light that makes it clear.

I'm sorry this is frustrating for you. I just can't relate. The refractors seem obvious to me. The two 2025 pictures above should show it. Maybe you aren't used to a silver chrome background and it's throwing you off. Non-colored chrome can be harder to see in some lights, but super obvious in others. The 1997 Donruss Limited Limited Exposure comes to mind. Probably the shiniest set ever, but that silver background can look dull in some lights.

One picture looks like this:

And better lighting looks like this:

OK, I finally found light that made it clear!

The light in my living room where I always break doesn't show ANY difference and zero rainbow, I can just see slight hints of rainbow when viewing with camera.

I went outside in natural light which I like for pregrading, there was ZERO difference as well.

I went to the kitchen with canned fluorescent lights and ZERO difference.

I finally went to my office with the lights off and just turned on my desk lamp and the rainbow shine was clear as it could be!

I'm sorry this frustrated everyone, but it really frustrated me as well. I'm not blind and actually really near sighted, so that usually helps me with viewing cards.

Sorry, carry on.

He's literally come onto this forum to educate himself and ask questions.

Or should people be experts before engaging on Blowout?
