I haven't had it in a couple years probably but it was good, yes. In & Out was better, though.

And people wonder why these things catch so much shade and so many strays...

I was surprised by the table service when I ate at one in Wisconsin.

Or google it on your phone before you get there It's kind of a speakeasy thing, that I think lures customers back.

had In N Out couple years ago when I went to Vegas for first time. It was over rated and did not live up to the hype at all. To me it was just an average burger nothing special.

Culvers is now the way to go! Get a butter burger Also Culvers is now in 26 states and expanding.

Whataburger is equally overrated.

In fact, I don't think I have ever had as disgusting a hamburger in all my years on this planet as I did 7 years ago when we made a pitstop at W-B on our drive from Dallas to San Antonio.

All it took was 2 bites then into the trash receptacle it went

Chicken Express (which I understand is also a Texas thing) is also nasty.

BucEEs is also overrated for what it is

To quote my wife after we went inside a BucEEs for the first time, walked around for about 10 minutes and left empty handed --

"What's the big deal? This is nothing more than a glorified truck stop"

Hairy should start a poll about Buc-EEs.

Is Buc-EEs Overrated/Overhyped?

Whataburger also has locations in Florida and Arizona. 16 states in total

Why is it just average at best? Because of what I just said. Like you said you didn’t like it

INO is the same once it expands

It’s not good

What were you hoping to buy at Buc-EEs, which is, in fact, a truck stop?

You've hit the trifecta.

Nothing, we just stopped in to see what all the hoop-la was about.

We were in Texas for 2 weeks, so we hit most of the regional food/chain spots. Food-wise, the best thing about Texas were the number of BBQ's we visited.

There was only one time in my life that I loved a burger so much I felt the need to tell anyone about it, and that was at a bar inside of a Hilton Garden Inn. You never know where your next great meal might come from.

LOL.

Hilton Garden Inn - Charlotte-Mooresville, NC. Just next to Lake Norman off I-77. Stop there a couple of times a year when I travel. The steak philly is pretty damn good too. Fries are A+.
