Just her experience

Fasting sucks for the first 1-2 weeks but you will get used to it

My workout at lunch helps as it kills another hour. I’m really good at going from say 9:00 at night until 6:00 the next day with water and coffee

I can do a pretty easy 20 hour fast these days

Not on the weekend though. Haha

Workout at lunch and I’ll drink enough water to get full

So I eat dinner depending on soccer practice between 6-9

And I’m good for the day

Like I said Friday - Sunday is a free for all
This honestly sounds appealing (and doable) to me. I'm impressed though that after enjoying yourself on the weekends, you are able to transition right back to your fasting on Monday. I suppose like anything it's routine so it just becomes habit. Thanks for sharing!

I’m sure some will tell me im crazy only eating basically from 5-9 four nights a a week. It just works for me

Black coffee and water fill me up. I’m good

I enjoy the lunch workout four days a week. I enjoy letting loose on the weekends. I have way too much soccer and basketball with my kids to try and diet

Again beer is my vice. I’d be 200 pounds easy if I cut that back. I should. I can. I will when needed

But I’m fine being 225-230 knowing I can get to 205-215 with chilling out a bit

It just works for me

I love food and beer too much… and my travel schedule is crazy with youth sports

So I focus on the fasting Monday through Thursday to help

Is it healthy? I’d have to ask Slyguy

But it works

In my younger days I could yo-yo my weight quite a bit without really trying. We used to do "Biggest Loser" competitions at work back when I was still in my early/mid 30s. I'd win every time. We even did a partners competition and my partner gained a pound or 2 and I lost over 40 so we still won. Now in my mid 40's my weight is pretty static.

My metabolism is crazy, even at 50. I’ve never moved within 15 pounds my entire adult life.

I'm a big dude who lived for the next meal, one day I woke up and just stopped caring about it for some reason (not depression, probably the opposite TBH - I DEFINITELY still care about Candy); probably lost 100+ since doing nothing besides now eating for sustenance instead of fun, sans the daily bags of Candy (down like 12 pant sizes since)

Lost about 90 pounds in 5 months when I had a bad case of strep throat many years ago. Finally went to the doctor and the doctor looked at me and said you shouldn't even be alive. Then scolded me why didn't I go to the doctor sooner and immediately put me on antibiotics.

Yeah that was fun.

I remember losing 9-10 lbs over a 3-day period to make weight for league weigh-in (wrestling).

Certainly don't recommend it.

I lost 30 lbs in a month right before I was diagnosed with cancer.

I'd make a joke but this forum can't handle that any longer.

Blocking people is weakness

You simply go years without replying and see if they catch on

I have a few of those

I don’t think one of them gets it yet I haven’t replied to him in thousands of posts… yet he keeps posting

I see them

I think it’s hilarious

Like some of the others, my metabolism has always been good. The fact that I do not go near processed and stick to fresh ingredients makes it easy to avoid unwanted weight gains. The most I've ever weighed was 210 (6'0), but it was primarily muscle weight. I was big on strength training prior to the pandemic. Once the pandemic hit, I went back to a lean muscle build so I'm generally around 175-185 area, which I prefer.
