I heard two NN talking this morning about how they did their first mow of the year over the week. What a bunch of hardos.

Bag or no bag?

I'd love to use a bag but Bnut Gardens has such lush, full grass it fills pretty quickly and I have to stop too often to empty it.

I don't mind raking.

Best push mower out there. Being discontinued though. Seriously considered buying one to put away for when my current one stops working, but decided against it. I'll slum it with a Toro if/when that happens

No bag

As long as you don't let the yard turn into a hay field, the clippings are good for growth.

Raking? Just sharpen the blades and/or get a better mower???

Life is too short for raking mowed grass, bro.

The neighbor down the road was doing mow #1 when I went past. I will not be pressured into doing mine. Plus it looks like a wet few days coming up.

Silently seething - I like the image! You will soon boil over with rage and do yours. All it will take is a snide comment from a neighbor - "Hey, nice lawn!"

You know you want to.

Do it.

No way dude, it’s not really growing yet. It did green up nicely the past week though. Had storms last night and more rain for the weekend so that should help kickstart the growth. Maybe next weekend, maybe.

You'd need a microscope to see the Venn diagram overlap between people that take pride in their lawns and ever let it get so long it needs raked...

I don’t mow wet grass NN. When there are clippings on the lawn during those mornings it bothers me.

I'm in WNY, had a neighbor a couple houses down cut his grass yesterday, he's the first...

His yard didn't need it, I think he just got a new electric mower and was antsy to try it out

It is starting to grow a little but I don't think I'll do it until next week sometime. Between being busy and more rain on the way, there really isn't a window of opportunity this week/weekend.

It's been all rain/snow this week...Bnut Gardens will have to wait at least another week or two.
