Yeah I'm able to get a case all the way to checkout now. Roughly 1k cases, its pretty limited so its a little surprising. Feels like one of those releases that the stranger things fans might not even release until they see cards popping up on ebay/social.

Use the "New Releases" drop down link on the top "Shop" bar of the website.

Buy Now instead of add to cart, because it just puts another step in there for no reason.

This was just the Presell so don’t worry. Even though the small percentage of boxes that were made available today sold out, there will be more available on the site on 4/11 for only $10 more per box. If you miss out on those then there is still no need to worry because Topps will supply a link to fanatics live later that day where there will be plenty available.

While the "trash" part is certainly a matter of opinion, I think this release is about as far from breaker-friendly as it gets in the modern world which is why cases are still for sale eight hours later even though its a limited set (compared to most releases). Not just because its a niche product but with only eight cards per pack it wouldn't be as easy to break up into spots. I'm sure some breakers still will do it but of all the things Fanatics has sold lately I don't think this one is designed with that in mind.

There have been no shortage of Star Wars High Tek breaks available and I believe the format is very similar. Breakers obviously love 1-pack boxes…they will have no problem finding a way to divvy up the spots.

I think the one thing probably holding them back initially is that they are unfamiliar with the license. It took them a while to fully jump in on Star Wars but now they are all fully in. Same will happen here…just give it time.

Pretty crazy that just before the pandemic, Topps Stranger Things sets were not very popular, and they went on clearance even with 2 hits per box, to the point where it seemed like Topps was going to stop producing any more sets since they did a sticker dump with their Autograph Collection set.

Now, people are clamoring to buy overproduced boxes with an autograph in every other box for $120? I understand there's no going back to the good old days, but it sure is crazy how much things changed. Personally, I will let others open these overpriced boxes, and I will keep buying cheap singles on ebay like I do with Star Wars and Marvel.

I don't think "clamoring" is the right word since boxes and cases are still both for sale on the Topps website. I have no doubt it'll sell out at some point but doesn't seem to be a lot of buzz for this one.

Oh, there's so many ways you can do it.

For packs, $20/spot random card, or $20/card draft (randomize 1-8 to see who gets first pick, second, etc.).

For cases, eBay breakers can sell spots for base, inserts, then separate spots for autos based on the auto checklist (e.g., auction off every signer on the checklist).

For regular breakers, $150/spot pack draft (randomize 1-12 to see who gets first pick, second, etc.) - open the packs - pick which pack you want if you are 1st pick, then the next person picks their pack....

Kind of disappointing they couldn't get more people to sign. The auto list leaves a lot to be desired.

The previous Stranger Things sets didn’t exactly light the world on fire and the timing of this set might have been better if they released it around the time of a new season airing on Netflix.

This should go back up on Topps for sale on release day. Generally when there is a Presell there is also a release day offering. Usually $10 more per box on release day but definitely lower price than the big 3 flippers.
