I just had Grok break down her demographics. The methodology is based on Insta and Tik Tok followers, likes, hearts etc:

Top 10 Demographic Popularity Ranking
White Women (20–34)
Why: Core fans—college-aged, basketball-savvy, and active on Instagram (54% female users). Her UConn stardom, NIL deals (e.g., Nike), and Final Four runs resonate here. Strong in Connecticut and Minnesota.

Evidence: Women’s NCAA viewership peaks with young adults; her 2021 ESPYs callout of Black women still appeals to white female allies.

Black Women (20–34)
Why: High support due to her leadership in a “Black-led sport” (her words) and advocacy (e.g., cooking for Muslim teammates, BLM posts). TikTok’s diverse audience (25% Black U.S. users) amplifies this.

Evidence: X posts from Black women (e.g., “Paige gets it,” March 2025) and her stepfamily ties boost connection.

White Girls (13–19)
Why: Huge teen following on TikTok (62% of users 10–29), driven by dance videos and “Paige Buckets” edits. White teens in suburbs like Hopkins, MN, idolize her.

Evidence: Social media engagement spikes with this group; X mentions of “little sisters” watching her.

Black Girls (13–19)
Why: Inspired by her skill and allyship (e.g., Drew’s story). TikTok’s Black teen audience loves her authenticity and hoops prowess.

Evidence: Her Minneapolis food drives and BLM stance resonate; less dominant than white peers due to smaller population share.

White Men (20–34)
Why: Basketball fans admire her game (19.8 PPG) and marketability. Less intense than women, but LeBron’s praise and her NCAA highlights draw them.

Evidence: Thomas’ column suggests some white men prefer Clark’s narrative, tempering her appeal here.

Black Men (20–34)
Why: Respect her talent and inclusivity (e.g., gospel singing). Strong in urban hoops communities, though men’s NCAA viewership overshadows women’s.

Evidence: X chatter from Black male fans highlights her skill, not just advocacy.

White Women (35–49)
Why: Parents of young athletes and UConn alum fans. Moderate support—less social media-driven but loyal to her story.

Evidence: Regional Northeast/Midwest appeal; less dominant than younger women.

Black Women (35–49)
Why: Appreciate her allyship and hoops legacy. Smaller group due to age shift from TikTok/Instagram, but still engaged via ESPN.

Evidence: Her ESPYs speech echoes with older Black female fans who’ve seen sports inequities.

Hispanic Women (20–34)
Why: Emerging popularity via TikTok (30% Hispanic U.S. users) and NCAA exposure. Less regional tie UConn limits intensity.

Evidence: No specific Hispanic outreach, but her national profile grows this base.

Asian Women (20–34)

Why: Small but growing due to TikTok’s Asian audience (10% U.S. users) and her universal appeal. Minimal targeted engagement keeps this lower.

Evidence: Women’s basketball’s rising tide lifts her visibility here.

Old people and Asian and Hispanic men haven't caught on yet. It's only a matter of time because she's awesome. Her style of play is more exciting then Caitlin and she's a much better dancer. She probably won't surpass Caitlin's popularity but I expect her to immediately be the second most popular WNBA player next season.

Really happy for her. Long long road for her to get here, and this has to feel good.

Love to see it! Fairytale ending with a national title. So happy for Paige.

Her playing isn't more exciting than Clark.

Maybe I am missing something but she doesn't dribble drive like Clark and can't do the artistic passes like Clark.

I'm sorry to feel this way, but I've watched the WNBA and even gone to a game. The product sucks.

Page is a good player, but what WNBA team has remotely the same lineup they did several years back?

It will be good for WNBA to have more than two faces, if we include Angel Reese and Caitlyn Clark (only two names I know, really only have time for one league).

I hope that the women will use the league's growth as a means of getting with the launch of a sustainability/GNH forum-meets-fb coin and social that doesn't track. So they are not getting the big bucks, but they are getting a fabric issue that will potentially be more valuable.

Was going through my old Qwasians from the pandemic prime collecting era. This must have been one of her first cards, legit or not. At the time, I liked what I saw as the CK homage design.

It’s not original art it’s stolen from a photo.

Interesting, she signed a three year deal to play in the 3 on 3 Unrivaled league. She's gonna be playing a lot of basketball.

No big deal but I feel like she would do well to play overseas in the "off-season".

She was already involved with Unrivaled so it makes sense.

True nuff. The dude started out in sketch and then flipped a Panini. But he stole better photos and had more pure designs. And now he's off the Bay, so it's all good. What would make sense is for a licensed company to get the rights to his designs and re-issue the best for the masses. Would sell at the very least and make the OH (original hoarders) rich.

Pdub's a baller. She got that Herro lip curl swag like she got it out the mud.

I think the biggest issue the WNBA has (and has always had) is the cumulative skill and ability of its players. There also exists particular objectives (dunking/above the rim play) that have been the hallmark of the NBA that the women's version will never be able to establish on a consistent basis.

Caitlyn is the first real WNBA player to sidestep this discrepancy by being the only woman to emulate Steph Curry range with good execution and reasonable accuracy. I also did some brief research and discovered that over half the WNBA teams have a lower fg percentage than the bottom 3 NBA lotto teams. All but the Lynx would be in the bottom half of the NBA beyond the arc.

What does this mean? A ton of bricked shots and layups. This is only magnified at the college level. I think for the common NBA fan, this means that most simply won't be able to sit through an entire WNBA game except to perhaps tune in to the top 3 players...and only in micro doses. Some may feel that it's essentially the same as watching a high level boys high school game in terms of dynamics. They will always have their core die hard fanbases, but it's going to be an uphill battle closing the gap because for the most part, the talent level isn't that great.

I tried to buy a different player. I got the Panini rotating circle for around 15 minutes and then the card I wanted was sold out

That's too bad. I really wanted the Serena 1/1 and even got it in my cart, but it kept timing out in checkout. I picked up a couple base instead.

I think it's a bit. She looked sad/annoyed in the group photos taken on the day of the draft at the Empire State building too.

A good start for Paige this game with 15 points, 5 assists and 4 rebounds at the half, almost on pace for a triple double.
Of course it is against the Suns, which makes things a bit easier.
