Chiming in here. Can we merge all of these “hot” buys threads?

I’m having a hard time keeping up with all of the sound advice so that I can maximize profitz.

K. Thanks.

This is NOT a Sanders Hot Buy thread- it’s the Sanders official thread since there wasn’t one. It only headed in that direction because someone made a post asking questions about that stuff.

Let’s keep focus on the topic of Shedeur

Sanders will only be a top pick because that is how the NFL works now. He makes bad plays against bad college defenses. He tries to do too much. That does not translate to NFL success. He will be a massive bust and set a franchise back 3-4 years at least if they try to play him immediately.

So, does that mean you won’t be posting anymore Sanders purchases henceforth? I may have to unsubscribe if that’s the case.

What round would Shedeur get drafted in IF his daddy wasn’t Deion?

Too be fair, if you factor in injuries with nfl teams over rating skills/character most 1st round qb’s end up setting their teams back. I swear qb is the most over drafted position in football. Also add in how poor most organizations are at developing a qb and it’s almost amazing that teams waste a 1st round pick on a qb. Sanders will probably just be another like the many before him. He might dazzle for a few moments as a rookie but once there is a season of type on him he’ll just be another wasted first round pick

Your way off buddy...What about his HOF pedigree? Kid is a natural born leader and a proven winner. Turned CU around in two seasons, what team wouldn't covet that type of results?

Interesting point of view..

Yes it's been 8 years, but Colorado did make it to the Pac 12 title game...and actually had a better ranking than this year's team...

What exactly has he done to be a "proven winner"?? They won 4 games last year...and got beat by the only ranked team they played this year...

I digress..he DEFINITELY doesn't need to go to Vegas; multimillionaire kid in Sin City just screams trouble/flame out

Leader? No. His Daddy is the leader of that team
Proven winner? Is going 13-10 in FBS football 'proven'?
Turned CU around? Single-handily? Not even close. He was one of literally almost 100 transfers in 2 seasons.

Off season story... At a camp in Florida, Cam Ward called out Shedeur for being lazy. He's definitely a 'me' guy.

Sacked 90 times in 2 seasons, not all his fault but they were on TV enough to see him play hero ball instead of making a smart play. Could he be a decent enough pro? Sure, with the right coaching and good OLine, but so could anyone. If his last name wasn't Sanders not many people would be talking about him at the level they are.

No does not mean that at all. This is the Sanders thread, so why wouldn’t I and everyone else post pics of Sanders cards? Dumb question

Between 2009-2019 these are the QB’s drafted in the 1st round that have either won a Super Bowl, MVP or all pro. I guess you could call these “franchise” qb’s? I am assume most teams think they are drafting their next franchise qb when they use a first round pick. Only two are slam dunk HOFers and neither were drafted 1st overall (Lamar was passed over 31 times!!!) Wentz had one really good year to make this list haha not really a franchise QB

Matthew stafford
Cam Newton
Carson Wentz
Patrick Mahomes
Josh Allen
Lamar Jackson

The rest. Some may have had “decent” careers, some still might but most would be hard to argue their draft spot based on what their careers have or did produce. Other than luck whose career was cut short to injury how many other would you consider a “franchise” qb? Also notice how often teams have had to circle back after a miss. Browns x3!!!

Mark Sanchez - jets
Josh freeman - bucs
Sam Bradford - rams
Tim Tebow - broncos
Jack Locker - titans
Blaine Gabbert - jags
Christian Ponder - Vikings
Andrew Luck - colts
Robert Griffin - Washington
Ryan Tannehill - dolphins
Brandon Weedon - browns
EJ Manuel - bills
Blake Bortles - jags
Johnny Manziel - browns
Teddy bridgewater - Vikings
Jameis Winston - bucs
Marcus Mariota - titans
Jared Goff - rams
Mitch Trubisky - bears
Deshaun Watson - Texans
Baker Mayfield - browns
Sam Darnold - jets
Josh Rosen - cards
Kyler Murray - cards
Daniel Jones - giants
Dwayne Haskins - Washington

No surprise giants will probably take a qb #1 after missing on jones. Most likely that qb if it’s sanders will be a miss as well haha

If a team with a terrible QB situation has a chance to take one of the top two QBs of the draft, it’s hard to fault them. They can’t roll with the same dregs and expect to win it all. The combo of OcOnnell and Minshew isn’t winning anyone a championship

You were so close to the prize! One 2017 QB would have rescued you from all those failures.

Terrible sack costs CU 23 yards and at least 3 points. Dude is too much backyard ball

I pulled a bunch of mahomes that year too. Sold all of them in lots to buy nate Peterman. There was a time where football sold like sh!t and was the most undesirable sport of the 3.

Baker is having a very solid season. Darnold has a legitimate shot at taking his Vikings to the Super Bowl. Sam could be the darkest horse in the MVP race if the Vikings end up with the best record in the NFL.

I just don't understand how high Shedeur is on various draft boards. He has no escapability (beyond running backwards 10 yards before getting tackled).

If the Giants take him over Cam Ward, they get what they deserve.

He’ll make Daniel Jones look like Tom Brady.
