Am I supposed to understand what that post means?

Because I can pay my bill in 6 months that makes me something specific? Everyone knows it’s a huge interest rate if you can’t pay it off

I’m very confused

Can you put them all in your Cart then pay for the entire lot?

I don’t believe so - maybe if it’s a BIN? It’s don’t see how you could at auction

I won an auction today. $13 + whatever

I had to pay the $20 within 60 minutes

I would have bought 4-5 more cards to get to $99 but I was irritated yet again as a buyer. So I’m done. Some random sellers lost 4-5 sales

I see. It's a flaw, along with combined shipping on those same types of listings

Yep

I totally get how some sellers like it. I’m not saying it doesn’t make some sense

But bulk buyers have to hate this… I’m not bulk… but I regularly buy 10-20 PSA 10’s at a time to get to $200 or $300… sometimes even more if I can

Like from 4SC… they must hate this no matter what you think about them

Now I won’t

I had no idea there was an option to turn off these settings.

It started as a pilot for certain buyers/sellers and eBay's intention was to make their entire site automatic-payment for all users. I had not heard any updates since my account entered the pilot.

It appears there is a button to opt back out so I clicked on it and will see what happens.

As a buyer I haven't seen any rhyme or reason to it, and it's frustrating.

Clearly I'm still learning as a seller as well. A lot of sellers were opted-in automatically. It looks like I was able to opt out today, but for how long? The original plan was to make automatic payment a requirement for all buyers/sellers. I don't know if eBay still intends to go that far.

I think it depends on the seller's settings. The first time I encountered a seller that used it I was prompted to select a payment method and it told me when the payment would be processed. Last week I noticed the seller had their settings for payments to automatically process at the end of the month, which I thought was odd, but I guess that was their way of allowing their buyers to choose.

I think you can still use PPC as long as you pay from your cart instead of waiting for the payment to process automatically. It would just depend on how long the seller has their settings.
