Those Frank Millers leave a lot to be desired. I get that the appeal is to own something by Frank Miller, but i can't even bring myself to even bid on one.

Agreed;
Even with the rarity and the name-brand recognition, I would need it to be a steal to prioritize my dollars going to this instead of cards I like a lot more.

Note: sketch cards 1:384 packs (and have 2022 indicia);
at 12 packs per box, that's one in 32 boxes.




And here's a weird one ...
something called DEEP CUTS is being pushed as a small-press set.
I assume it focusses on Horror Movies (and Toxic Avenger?)

I noticed some 5finity blanks popping up on eBay with, what is presumably, a stamp stating they are "5FINITY REPURPOSED CARD" for their 15th Anniversary. As someone who has a small collection of blanks, I'm not even interested in these. I would assume these were leftovers that 5finity found sitting in the warehouse that they stamped and just gave to a handful of dedicated sellers?

Yeah, I've seen this & agree.
I don't have a vision how to use these.
Would someone want to commission a non-checklist, top-tier artist to draw on an obscure set like Zombies Vs Cheerleaders?

I don't have the sketchcard in-hand yet, but it was put out by a company called Finding Unicorn, based out of the Philippines. They sort of came out of obscurity last year with some Marvel sets, though they have been around a while I think. They have done a number of interesting properties that we don't see much of here. Aside from the Minions, they also did Kung Fu Panda.

It was just that example--the other two from my other boxes are definitely written by hand. Maybe Sandoval has a stamp with his name? Not sure.

Yes, that is the Marvel Avengers set. That won't be hard to search for at all if looking for cards from that set specifically... Maybe "2024 marvel avengers sketch -metal".

I finally got the two Finding Unicorn cards in-hand today that I mentioned several posts back. I assume both are 2024, as info for those sets can be tough to come by. These are the card backs from the sketchcards for:

By now you probably heard that Upper Deck launched one last Marvel product before the end of the year. These have been seen at Target today. I assume this is a sketch card that can be found in this product (found on eBay), but I’m not sure.

Yes, I believe that is the back artwork for that set. Having a name like "Marvel Spider-Man" won't be a challenge at all to find cards for that specific set, will it...

They do. I started a CMP list (the tiny number on the back) and found it difficult--even COMC has them wrong a lot and you can't go by eBay sellers all the time.

LOL -- someone brought up in a different thread that there are two DIFFERENT backs, and the artists were not notified & could have mixed some up.

Dynamite fixed that by covering up the wrong insignias with printed stickers.



They also covered up unacceptably-rendered faction insignias with stickers.

So instead of sending a letter with clear instructions for Artists,
Dynamite took the time to "correct" misidentified sketch cards?
I'm low-key impressed.
