Ungradable Cards (scroll down a bit in the above link)

PSA will not grade cards that bear evidence of trimming, re-coloring, restoration, or any other forms of tampering, or are of questionable authenticity.

They do have Authentic as well as Altered Authentic "grade" (along with the No Grade designations)...but they may have deemed this card in their "ungradeable" category. There's not a whole lot of difference to me between the "ungradeable" vs the two authentic and the no grade designations.

Very cool project. 1’s are easy. I had a Murray 1 but sold it fairly recently.

I have Acuna and Soto update 1-10 runs.

I was going to do the same with the Henderson rookie. I had a psa 4,5,6,7,8 but I felt 9 was gonna get hard(not to mention 10).

It’s been awhile since I’ve updated. While I’m waiting to grade out the elusive PSA 1 and half grades for the Topps version of Eddie Murray’s rookie card, I have started an O-Pee-Chee side quest ladder of his rookie card. Here is my progress so far…

PSA 3 VG

PSA 3.5 VG+

PSA 4 VG-EX

PSA 5 EX

PSA 6 EX-MT

PSA 7 NM

PSA 8 NM-MT

I just got back a new half grade to fill out another half step on my ladder… this PSA 2.5 (pop 10). Full ladder progress so far is up thread in post 30.

I’m still missing the elusive PSA 1 for my Eddie Murray ladder. Recently submitted this one I picked up from COMC with high … I mean low … expectations that it will nab the elusive PSA 1.
