It's highly unlikely anyone reaches 40K again, unless the NBA adds games/changes rules and the culture changes where players are trying to play every single game.

In a 20 year career, you'd have to average 24.4 ppg and not miss any games. If you only play 15 years and don't miss a single game, you'd need to avg more than 32.5 you're entire career. And given the amount of money these guys are making today, gonna be tough to find another guy willing and able to play 20+ years in the NBA.

Luka has a good career scoring avg (28.5) but he's only played more than 70 games once and that was his rookie season.

Appreciate LeBron while he's still playing. Love him or hate him, some of the things he's done on the court won't be done again. He's done/said some regrettable things, but for a guy to come into the league with this much hype and deliver like he has, that's pretty amazing.

I just don't get the hate for lebron. Guy has pretty much had every possible accomplishment you could have while living up to being the most hyped prospect of all time.
