For this class, I could not have less interest. Outside of Stroud there's just not much to be excited about. even projecting forward late bloomers out of the class... just not that exciting right now.

I tend to buy/grade the base 49ers rookies for my PSA registry sets. That's all I'm gonna do.

Massive print run but not all of it will be loaded in the auction, so just under Hobby presell most likely - $812.50, maybe $750 which I think was around where last year's sold out.

What percentage of orders were at $875? 1%? It was there for 20 seconds with an inoperable website. The site was erroring non stop, taking boxes out of cart, etc, the last 10 1/2 minutes. I doubt anyone was buying before this happened at $1000 a box. So, you somehow have 15,000+ boxes selling in 10 1/2 minutes when most had issues or couldn't checkout period. Yet Im sure guys like Blez will "somehow" be putting dozens of cases up immediately to break or resell.

15k boxes sold and 45 minutes later 2 listings on ebay. Last year there were around 30-35 at this point indicating the general public was buying at least a non-trivial percentage of the print run (likely because 2021 FOTL was going pretty high at the time). 23 might be the most obviously manipulated FOTL of all time - Panini protecting the price for whatever big dealers or breakers are actually getting it backdoor.

Other than breakers (who will make their money on it), who is breaking this stuff. Covid is over people, the hype is done.. People really like giving money away in this hobby.

Yeah it's ridiculous. I'd love to know how many boxes were sold during the auction. Maybe 25%? I'd bet the house it was 50% or less. Even if there had been no real issues adding to cart and checking out, I don't think more than half would have been gone 20 seconds into the $875 drop.

The last time I remember it being this tough to checkout was 2022 Certified Football FOTL. Certified had a fraction of the amount of boxes as Prizm. Certified still technically lasted until the floor and it was very tough or impossible to checkout for 20-25 minutes.

I don't know how much people remember the old times but one of the reasons some products with higher box counts lasted longer was because of how much traffic there was adding to cart. It could take more than a minute to add to cart the last 15 minutes of the auctions. Very rarely if ever were there issues once you got it in your cart. Today it was tough to add to cart then after that spinning non stop, erroring out, and cart jacking. But yet today, with one of the highest box counts in auction history, they expect us to believe 90%+ of Prizm sold out in 10 1/2 minutes with countless issues. Sure

I miss opening packs sometimes. I can still remember the smell of a fresh box of cards. Last time I did that was probably 2019 with this insanity. Even with singles prices still not my exactly to my liking, you can get so many fun singles for what a box of shyte costs you and you can avoid figuring out how to dispose of all the bulk.

Some singles are starting to trickle online. Saw Stroud and Richardson. The base design is definitely growing on me.

Is it really similar to the previous years? Yes. But it is still pretty clean without being too much/complex.

The Stroud looks sharp, but 0 chance I'm paying the asking price on those.
