This may have zero correlation to what's going on with our WWE redemptions, but CardP*rn on IG posted an interesting thing the other day about how people have unfulfilled 1/1 redemptions that are somehow being auctioned off on various sites. This might impact us in the fact that it seems Panini's warehouse is a mess right now. Who knows.

This is a good question. I actually have not heard of anyone punting their redemptions, so im not sure of what a replacement might look like. Logic says it'd be a high end return, but panini & logic don't mix ha

Yeah honestly I wouldn’t doubt them trying to just play it off w sparkle packs. I do think Triple H will sign eventually. It’s ridiculous he hasn’t yet though.

The NFL sparkle packs are interesting. They're compensating with a different sport entirely?

I'd wait it out before taking the sparkle pack. Those are trash.

But the replacement of equal or greater value is a bit tempting. My guess would be Cena, though I'd imagine a Stone Cold or Undertaker would be on the table as a possibility. But since it's Panini, it could also be Sheamus or Drew McIntyre and you'd have to swallow that pill. Definitely a gamble.

I told him the same thing lol, I’ve seen too many nightmare stories, but he tried to reassure me he could help if I wasn’t happy with a replacement so idk. The mosaic packs are garbage, it isn’t white sparkle, just sparkle

If they would’ve guaranteed me an Austin or Taker I would’ve just told them to do it, but my luck I’ll end up with some base auto of Axiom

For other sports, how has the "replacement of equal value" gone? Like one big name who has tons of outstanding redemptions is Josh Allen. Who has panini replaced for him, if we have any examples? That's what worries me the most about replacing what I have outstanding (Trips and Steph, Cody, Randy, Big E)...they just gonna send me Natalya and call it a day?

I think that would be them being SUPER generous which Panini isn't known to do lol Stone Cold/Taker are definitely of way greater value and even Cena is I think although he's probably closer.

I'd expect someone more on the level of (not specifically these people) Randy Orton, Edge Bret Hart, a Goldberg or Cody maybe. I'd wait it out myself as I don't think they'd replace it with names I'd be happy with like the ones above or HBK or Batista or Hogan. I mean I don't think those sparkle packs go for a ton anymore so if that's one option alone, how "valuable" can this replacement card be? lol

About to say screw it and request a replacement for the HHH I’ve been waiting on, do they let you know what the replacement is beforehand? Like do I have the option to turn it down if it’s someone like Axiom or something like that?

Just a warning, requesting a replacement doesn't mean you'll get one before the next Olympics. I requested a replacement on a card two years ago (football in this case) but still haven't gotten one.

But to answer your question, if you just do the request online you won't get to turn down anything, it will be a surprise. I've heard if you can reach a live person on their customer support team it can help with giving a preference (packs vs. cards) but I don't know if that is still true.

I would call in and talk to a person. I called a couple weeks ago about another card and the person saw some of my WWE redemptions and she asked me about waiting or replacing. She then asked who I collected and I told her a couple different sports. My Big E got sent right away (not sure why it took a phone call for that redemption to be filled), but then she said they would work on replacements from my list. How true that is, I don't know. I'll have to wait and see. But, at least I talked to a live person and she actually took time to talk to me.

I just got an email that Panini is sending my Cena 2022 Revolution Sunburst auto redemption. I've seen fulfilled versions of this card (I don't think any live Cena auto made it into packs) but had been wondering if mine would ever be made/shipped.

That was a nice relief and this was my lone pending WWE redemption.

BTW, I didn't call or email and ignored the 'would you like a replacement' emails that they have sent in the past.

My base Bliss Revolution auto is coming Friday (as of now) but my cubic /49 still hasn't updated to a closed ticket yet.

I also had a Charlotte Flair Impeccable patch auto /25 that I requested a replacement on cause I got basically the same type of card from Immaculate live. Anyway my replacement is coming tomorrow and it's a Natalya /25 Immaculate patch auto. Not exactly thrilled that Panini considers Natalya to be equal or greater value.
