I collect all Stastny probably because I met them as a kid

And their story of escaping from Czechslovakia (especially Marian) is movie worthy.

As for their value it's really criminal, especially Peter who was only beaten by Gretzky for several years in almost every offensive category.

Personally, I wouldn't call the Stastny brothers obscure. Yeah, that family as a whole is definitely worth collecting, but not a whole lot out there in terms of cards after you get past Peter.

Ask any hockey fan who the Stastny brothers are these days and I guarantee you maybe 1/10 will know.

And if there isn't much out there as you say then, well, that is basically the definition of obscure.
