Pete is one of the good guys throwing a ton of ball up all game and every game. Many 1st basemen ignore the fans and run into the dugout like they’re heading for cover between innings. Pete is good guy and I bet he feels awful and didn’t realize.

Was at the game tonight in the bleachers so I didnt see what happened and couldn't figure out why people were booing until probably like the 6th inning. Not an Alonso fan, but from the video it looked like he was looking at the pitcher/umpire asking if they wanted the ball back, shook his head to confirm the "no" and then turned and threw it up. If Winn got the ball back, no harm was done.

Alonso comes across as really really dumb. I think he's kind of like manny ramirez in that respect. He can hit himeruns, but outside of that he's an idiot.

P.Alonso is a fake nice guy. No one in MLB with 2 outs throws a baseball to the stands. He @#$@# know what he was doing. I'm glad Max and Verlander jumped ship because the Mets are closer to basement than Cardinals. I hope Cardinals fans have a Josh Allen memory because it could of been disqusting.

Everyone came to accept and love manny being manny, this is Pete being Pete. You'd have to set the iq over under pretty low before I'd bet the over for alonso lol.

I saw the same thing.

I was indifferent on Pete until they showed him doing squats like an absolute maniac douche during the 2022 HRD.

How did Masyn Winn not get a Topps Now card? Got a hit in his MLB debut. The Angel's get 3 cards and Cole Ragans gets a card, but a top 50 prospect doesn't. Who makes these decisions???

I haven’t busted any S1 yet and I’m holding out for S2 parallels, but let’s see some copies of Masyn’s first official licensed on card auto. …

Funny story with a bad twist for me-
Beckett does not list Masyn in the heritage chrome or the real one auto checklist. So I passed on a four caser of Masyn at $99.
Of course he is on the checklist and they hit a red real one auto.

In other news: solid start on defense and average. Needs to tap the power a bit but the double the other day was nice. Defense is great

I wish they’d let him (and other rookies around the league) play full time. Hard to get a rhythm going when you go 2/4 and then sit the next day.

I have a nice Tribute Winn purple on card auto. First one auction for $150, second auction was $62. Really strange gap there. I have mine listed at $110.
Others listed at $140 or higher.
Not too worried if it sells or not as I'm in Cardinals territory so can usually move locally anyhow.
