A psa 10 sold on 2-1 for $57.05 shipped.

And a PSA9 is selling for 44.95? Wow. Not much difference there. Isnt there usually a massive jump in price from 9 to 10?

Don't pay attention to what things are listed at, only what they sold at.

I could list one for $1000, doesn't mean anything.

"Selling for" and "Sold for"... are not the same thing!

It blows my mind that people spend hundreds, thousands, and more on stuff and then ask if they overpaid. Do some research before you jump in head first.

Unless you're trolling. Then blow all your money for all I care.

For the 2nd time Im not trolling. Im a Curry fan and when I made this purchase it looked like most variations on this card psa10 are fairly expensive so it seemed like a good buy. Then I realized theres like 100 of each one etc...

So these roughly book value at around 200 I guess if I were to sell at max value. And tax and shipping for 31 dollars. Not a great deal but not a horrible one.

So your lot is around $200. You didn’t over pay by much. I have no interest in the cards and it took me less then 5 minutes to research approximate values.

If this is you take on being worried about whether or not you were ripped off, buying "something" with your "money" that you fully admit your not familiar with...

The seller(s), I'm sure, appreciate your business...

but...

Maybe this ain't the hobby for you!

If this is a legit new collector it is what it is. Someone with no knowledge in the game it can be difficult. Hopefully op learned some valuable information from this thread. Don’t buy anything unless you are comfortable with the price and your comfort comes from educated research.

I’m surprised that no one has asked the OP what else he’s interested in.

There's a user here who has a Rickey Henderson Rookie Card they are convinced should be a PSA 10 if you're interested.

Henderson psa10 is worth a pretty penny. Cant tell if you are trolling or not but if you're serious I wouldn't mind taking a look at the scan and the asking price.

I actually have a Henderson RC but its in bad shape. Probably a 3

I just purchase a lot of 110 Barry Bonds cards for $18.52 out the door.

And a lot of 29 George Brett Cards for $15.

Cards are a dime a dozen these days it appears. Seems like if these people had more patience they could make more money by breaking the lots down further. But this does create opporunity for us I suppose.

Well, you definitely got burned on the Bonds.
He's like, one of the most infamous cheaters in the history of sports.

$110 cards for 18 dollars and I got burned? Thats like 18 cents a card or whatever for a guy who really should be in the HOF.

A lot of guys in that ERA cheated unfortunately. He was a HOF player long before the allegations of cheating. The fact that he has not yet been voted is a travesty in my opinion.

You bought graded cards, which literally tell you which variation it is.

How was this purchased? You said there was tax and shipping included, so it must have been a reputable site? What was the actual price of the cards?
