My one and only entry, Byron Buxton, hit yesterday.

Does Topps print after each month and send them out? I'm not sure what they do regarding printing and sending. Thanks

Curious on something on 4/29/2023 Juan Soto hit a 448' blast per ESPN box score, on the Topps site I doubled down on the 29th and it has me as a "non-winner". Anyone else see this if they submitted? How can I contest this?

I’m showing similar results with inaccurate “non-winner” on our HRC Tab. My double down Soto on Saturday, April 29 still shows “In Process”, but I have several other players ( that have correctly hit HRs on the right date) that already show “non-winner”, even have a few Non Winners from May 01 ( Pete Alonso).

Not much to do other than hope Topps can figure out the error and perhaps they’ll change it before an order is populated.

I'm seeing the same thing for two April winners.

I got the same email... what a pointless email.
Which player? Which code? Which date?
If it's successfully accepted...wth?

At the very least I hope whatever code they're referring to is not "burned."
This looks to be another impending s-storm for customer service.

Got the same unfriendly morning email from Topps. It's certainly a good way to kill enthusiasm for what should be a fun game for fans, collectors and hobbyists.

I gave CS a call this morning and received a very stern talking to about terms and conditions and reading the fine print.

Page 3 of an external PDF is not my idea of making information clear to consumers.

What's frustrating is first by 4:00am EST how many of us can make a decision on a game like that, with technology nowadays I feel they can be a little more giving here and not have such an early deadline. I only have a handful of cards to play but I still want to be able to check the weather as well as make sure my player is actually playing that day. Thanks Topps, thanks a lot!!

And at the very least the system should not allow you to select the current day, should give you an error in red for the reason selection is not being accepted, and have bolded copy above the date selector explaining the time and day-of rules.

Got the same email this morning. For all the people saying we should read the fine print this is basically like a Sportsbook allowing me to bet $100 on a team to win tonight (clearly before it has started), telling me I have SUCCESFULLY submitted said bet, then voiding the bet and keeping the money because their terms say so.

I wouldn’t be mad if I somehow backdoored my entry past the deadline but the website clearly allows you to make those entries same day when it could easily block out that date after 4am est like it has in the past.

Also in the fine print it says that if you enter a code and the player does not play that day your entry is also voided and unable to use again. So when I place my Byron Buxton entry there is a 25% chance I don’t even get a chance at winning.

Anyways, ill be shooting a Topps a call so I can get a nice stern lecture from customer service about the importance of reading the terms of service and then never enter a homerun card again.

Yep… same. I’m glad mine were pack pulled and I didn’t go out and buy some like I was planning.

It doesn't allow you to select invalid date beyond the deadline... and in years past sometimes randomly prior to the deadline... one year the "deadline" was "fluid" and yet another year I tried to play a date (next day) and experienced a website down for last few hours prior.

I am on the west coast so my cut off is 1AM. I usually wait till last 30 minutes to enter due to weather, injuries, etc.

THIS YEAR... actually... earlier this AM I considered playing another card, but it was 1:01AM and the date (today) was already unavailable.

Welcome to Fanatic Topps!
Maybe we can hold out and see if it gets worse... Comcast/Xfinity could always find a way to buy Fanatics.

I submitted all my cards right when I got to work at 9 am so myself and my coworker had something to look forward to that day. I assumed the option to enter would cut off once the game started but I’m now assuming that the current day became unavailable once it hit 12:00am the next

I just got off phone and CS rep sounded pretty defeated.

He told me they had over 20K codes that were rejected and even if you get 1 email it doesn't mean you only had one code kicked back. You could have had multiple. He claimed the system was accepting codes and people were able to enter codes for same day games, DURING the game. He said whatever codes invalidated would eventually have "invalid" added to their status, but thus far none of mine do.

Maybe only certain codes and certain players had incorrect option to enter beyond the deadline?
I don't typically try to enter hours past the deadline but few times I've attempted minutes past deadline I've been blocked. I know the T&C are crazy and I am actually one of those people that reads them and saves a digital copy anticipating they retroactively change them. I have a 12:30AM alarm followed by entry usually by 12:50AM PST. I have a spreadsheet with all my codes in cloud storage to access even when I am travelling.

I mentioned that Fanatics/Topps could still get worse if Comcast were to purchase them... The rep had a loud chuckle at that.
Then I mentioned I had a feeling he was going to have a rough day and he responded with "looks to be headed that way."
It's not his fault and he doesn't deserve the crap he's going to get.

I think all of us daily players noticed right away that the code input screen stayed open for WAY too long. Full Disclosure I'm 100% guilty of entering a code right after a home run was hit. I'm sitting at my PC inputting codes for the next day while watching a HR on MLB.TV LOL, or course I had to try and see if it still let me register it!!...saying this, I did only try this a few times. Im one of the nerds that actually know the T&C and didn't feel like gambling all my codes IF Topps decided to take action. Looks like I lost about 28 entries out of the 800+ inputted.
They did fix the entry screen on May 2. Now same day codes are blocked after 4am.

FYI- Winners have now been flipped for April

Topps handled this poorly. I wasn't one of the unlucky ones who had their winning selection voided but I feel like when the issue is with their software keeping days open the onus shouldn't be on the customer. Seems like the card companies can never get out of their own way

I checked in my Alonso winner from April and it also gives me the non-winner result. Total BS

What do you mean winners have been flipped? Did they fix the error then honor "non winners"? I "lost" on Buxton 3-run HR on 4/30.

If you go to your HR challenge tab and look at the status of your inputted APRIL codes, you’ll see 1 of 3 texts next to your code.
  • Non-Winner. This is what’s seen if your code has been voided because you inputted it after the 4am deadline. Even if your player hit a HR, they still made it a “Non Winner”. You do not win. Topps sent an email out explaining its automatically voided.
  • Winner. You’ll see this is your player successfully hit a HR. You’ll be receiving an order soon for your winner.
  • In Process. Your code was received but did not win. This will soon be changed to Non-Winner.

It’s confusing to explain. They flipped status for winners. So if you won, you’ll see “Winner” next to your player. The haven’t flipped the status for non winners yet. Those still show in process. The codes that say “non winner” already means that your code was voided because it was entered after the 4am deadline.

FYI: most all May/June codes will be “in process”. They haven’t calculated these winners yet.

I just got the same email that it was a non-winner due to me entering the code post 4:00am. Unreal! They accepted it. Should have been grayed out after the 4:00 whistle. Try and give them the Bud Light treatment but they don't care about me who's only being buying their products for over 40 years! It's only about the rigged breakers nowadays it seems. Hobby jades me more and more each day!

Topps is why I quit the game after the 2018 debacle. The 2019 debacle was the funniest/weirdest. I hope they get this worked out fairly for you guys! I still think this game has so much potential that they will never tap.
