Should be a really interesting spring.
I hope they can get to the SCF for selfish reasons- I have a few Svech37 PSA 10 YGs that I'd like to get rid of for more than the going rate.
These were going for $250 a year ago and now they're at about $100.

Mikko Rantanen has hit yet another gear this year. Carried the entire team on his back while Mac, Landeskog, and Makar were out at various times.

Leading all forwards in ice time and has a shot at the all time Avs/Nordiques single season goal record. Still super underrated if that's possible.

He and Matthew Tkachuk are similar to me. Tkachuk's PSA 10 FWA is ~$400-450. After today's blowout he has 27 goals and 44 assists, good for 5th in the NHL. (Brady's undervalued too fwiw). In the Tkachuck's case they are hockey legacy but have played outside of media centers - clearly Rantanen doesn't have THAT issue.

Not on the level of becoming a megastar, but Filip Chytil

Career highs in Goals (18), Points (31) and one behind his career high in assists.

Also his last 4 games - 6 G, 1 A, +6

Stutzle following (and out performing) Hughes' trajectory through his first 3 years has me excited as a Sens fan

So what's the main deal with the Sens performance this year? Looks like they have plenty of young forward talent. And I like Chabot a lot. Just lacking experience? D? Goaltending? Expectations too high? .500 hockey about right?

Our blueline stinks. And we've had key injuries to our #1 and #2 dmen for long stretches. We've also had Josh Norris out for most of the season too. Scored 30 last year. We arent good enough to weather those kinds of losses.

We also have the lowest shooting % in the league. I've been watching this team for 20+ years and I've never seen a team so snakebit all the time. It has improved lately and we've been on a nice run lately. Probably going to be too little too late but our young core is one of the best in the league. Good days ahead.

New ownership soon so clearing house on our terrible GM/hockey operations will be great too.

So not a fan of Dorian I take it?
Compared to management we are used to out here Pierre doesn't seem that bad!

Perhaps this was awarded prematurely. Erik Karlsson has another goal and assist today giving him 17g and 51a in 51 games. He did have 82 points in 15-16 but prior to this year he hadn't cracked 50 in 5 years

This is why you need to find young and talented players. Buy, grade and hold their FWA and wait for them to start res bing their potential. I have been doing this with a few from 2020-21.

If Rutherford and Allvin turn out as bad as Benning and Co. over the next 5 years I might have to put a bullet through my head.
F-ing painful out here for about 10 years now.
At least Pierre didn't purposely trade for Oliver Ekman-Larsson... and sell it as creating cap space. What a joke!

Derp, yeah. I was talking about YGs. The guys in NY used to always have 19/20 ud s1 on their clearance sale, not anymore I guess.

I'm not a buyer at that price - it's definitely buying on a bump and you can wait for a 3 week drought - but he's on pace for 57 goals and 110 points as a 21 year old. There haven't been many guys to do that before

Dawson Mercer has been on fire of late. Another goal today - I think it's now 5 goals in the past 4 games. 16 on the year
