He mentioned in the comments ohtani was a hard pull, he pulled 10+ of some players in cherry blossom but only two Ohtani.

This has the top update rookies, plus the Japan variations, smaller checklist of key names and the Ohtani hunt for $35 more.

Seems pretty good to me, especially with a much smaller print run.

If you don’t pull an Ohtani auto or cherry blossom, then it’s a big L. The base never sold for any type of premium, smaller print run or not.

Right now. There are a few overpriced boxes on ebay. Could be available on Amazon Japan but not sure if we will see this at distributors.

Dang, my boxes got held up for some reason. Still expected on Thursday. I am sure we ordered around the same day and time. That was quick.

If anyone is on the fence about buying this, here is my perspective after opening 6 boxes. Most boxes will be able to complete a full set unless there is mess ups like one box having 3-4 copies of the same card. Happened a few times in my boxes. Best hits were a 1/1 Justin Turner, Ohtani MVP relic, and autos of Matsui and Ramires. Most of the 1987 inserts and parallels had corner damage and will probably not sell. Really disappointed that the Julio 1987 had corner damage and a nic on the back. Was thinking about getting some more boxes but Topps QC strikes again erasing most of the value. Shame that most parallels had the same corner damage. I will try to show pics if I can. My advice is to stay away unless you just like to have for the collection.
