I agree but what do you think the odds all of those weren't kifed years ago? Especially over the last few years if there were any left, which there probably weren't.

That's the type of card worth fighting for in court though if there ever was one. Been waiting for this day for years! Call 1-800-JOE.. let's settle this one.

I actually don't know the value of that card, what would it be?

One sold through Goldin on June 25 for only $30K. It was in a BGS 7.5 slab though, so that may have brought the price down. The subs were good but a 7 on corners brought the overall grade down. Nice 3-color patch though. I think a sealed box would probably sell for more than $30K. Crazy that one of the main chase cards (even if this was live and not a redemption) would sell for less than the unopened box.

Or not. Maybe with the expired redemptions being pulled and the fake boxes being opened, the hobby can stop overpay and invest in sealed products.

Probably the person could’ve spent the money wiser but instead had to sit and watch $25k spin into nothingness. But F*ck it , you only live once!

That Webber Extra Exquisite is nice. Bought one fairly recently for mid 2 figures so I won't even attempt to make an offer for it.

The reason those boxes are so expensive is 95% the LeBron RPA and then 5% Limited Logos of MJ,LBJ and Kobe. As great as that MJ would be I wouldn't consider it a chase card in this.

Absolute nightmare fuel.

I'm curious if UD even has any of those MJ autos still in reserves, or what they did with them. I've heard they're pretty effin lax when it comes to honoring overdue redemptions, but 2 decades may be pushing it.

That unscratched card will still probably fetch a pretty penny.

On the bright side the B-Diddy base is Jersey Numbered and first numbering.

In reality it can’t be a chase card because it’s a redemption, but if this was live how could it not be a chase card? It’s gotta be in the top 0.1% of cards in this set. And it’s an MJ patch auto in a Bulls uniform. I know it doesn’t sell for nearly what the LL sells for, but still. This is the exact type of card people were looking for when this product came out.

Wow, so many thoughts come to mind. Those are probably what 100k a box now? Even if the MJ was a live card its still not going to cover the price of the box. I would still be contacting UD and try as hard as I could to get compensated in some way for that card. I hope it works out him.

Maybe UD has some Brandon Davis autos laying around that they could send him for the MJ redemption?

When I click on the link it just takes me to Instagram. Can you tell me the account for the break? I think I need to search it on my own.

As a 2003 exquisite collector I can assure you that the redemption is not worthless. Of course we would all prefer to have the actual Jordan, however, as it sits that unscratched redemption is a minimum of $2,000. It wouldn’t surprise me if it sold for more.

Did a guy opening a box of 2003 exquisite really call baron davis brandon davis? Also why did it take him 7 minutes to open just the box up?

I have never seen an UNSCRATCHED MJ Redemption before. So this could certainly fetch several thousand.

Dang, then the MJ Auto Patch if redeemed wouldn't even pay for the box.

Have to wonder if there is a worse product on the market from an EV standpoint. Yikes

Hello guys, it’s been a while since I posted last time. But would be fun to chime in here a bit with some useful info.

I calculated there are 29959 Exquisite cards in 2003-04: 18072 + 750 + 700 + 22 + 1330 + 3 + 4100 + 180 + 100 + 662 + 320 + 420 + 3000 + 300 = 29959.

Each box has 5. That gives 5992 boxes.

MJ has: AP /100, LL /75, NN /25, SS |25, NP /23, EE /15.
So 263 MJ Autos.

Each box was hand packed to ensure value close to $500 price point. So no two MJ Auto can be sighted in one box.

I know there is a good box in a case, and correct probability will involve a bit more, but the following is roughly correct. 263/5992= 4.4% to hit a MJ auto from a sealed box!!!

That's some insane luck for Steven, 26collectibles.

Some Kobe UD 3 season ticket redemption card which might not even be real was selling close to 10k a couple of years ago. I might be in minority, but I think this
unscratched MJ redemption card especially pulled on camera has significant value.

Folklore has it that those unredeemed cards were given out to diamond club members, mega spenders on wax.

Redemption card owner should get it signed by MJ thru UDA. Would be a unique piece to own.

A copy with a nice patch and high grade would de double the box price.

When was the last time an unredeemed 2003 Exquisite MJ was sold?

This might be a valuable piece to someone who currently owns the live autograph.
