Describing it as art or a movie prop, just a thinly veiled scam

I added all the certification # that I could read to the Buyer Beware list of over 4K altered, faked, mislabeled, and stolen cards. https://www.tiffanycards.com/buyer-beware

We've got an updated message on the Etsy shop. He sounds like a real winner.

"As of 4/1/22 I will be moving away from selling custom cards. Too many customers have evidently used products that were intended for personal collections as a way to make easy money. I have been made aware that PSA forums are now dedicated to seeing me penalized for doing graded slabs. However as I have not infringed on PSA whatsoever there will be no such ramifications. If you need anything custom from here on out you will have to message me personally to discuss any needs you may have. You will still find dereplicationstation as your home for watches, costume props and various other items. Finally: To the sad few shut-in card police on the PSA FORUM I say this: you 6 people are the only ones who care about what you ramble about. It's sad. Enjoy lifelong abstinence.

Here's the CU thread, that is referenced. Would be nice to see PSA and/or Beckett make an effort to stop the seller.

PSA must have sent him something. He took down most of the PSA fakes. The ones he has up have eyes covering PSA on the label. Maybe Beckett will send him something next.

But, but, but...he said he didn't infringe on PSA whatsoever, so that can't be it.

I just had to quote this again for the absurd level of irony.

The presumptively fake PSA bag is a nice touch. Looks like a third trip to con college might be in order.

Newest edits. They aren't selling counterfeit cases, it's a completely different and unrelated PSA acronym (ProStyleAwesome) they are replicating.

Get ProStyleAwesome labels custom made for competitive pricing.

"PSA" is a registered trademark (with respect to use with trading cards) and so PSA would risk losing their trademark if they did not send him something. TM owners need to police their own marks. So they definitely sent him a cease and desist letter to trigger this response.

Amazing how stupid people can be.

I think labeling the seller as stupid is not painting the entire story. He obviously knew what he was doing, engaging in criminal activity to scam people out of their money. He is the same as every other criminal in history. They always think they will get away with it and not get caught.

So is gold also a bad investment? I could go outside a spray paint a rock gold and it would look more legit than these fakes.

...and what part of that is not accurately described as "stupid?"

Not sure what you’re saying, gold already has a number of other metals that look like it.

I was just pointing out that stupid people would not have known how to make a fake slab and a stupid person wouldn’t know how to sell them. I guess I am trying to say that the person is not stupid he is playing stupid when he got caught. That is all

Doesn't look like the same scammer and an even worse fake PSA styled label but this recent Mike Tyson had enough people fooled into bidding the bogus card/label up to $6,651.

Yet another PSA acronym (Premium Sports & Authentication) on these fakes.
https://www.ebay.com/itm/384752571620?
PSA cert matches up with a PSA 10 1989 Donruss Tom Glavine
