Already frustrated

. Got a Yelich code that tells me is incorrect even though I am certain. Votto code got me invalid date selection but the Yelich doesn't even get that far.

What does the Double down of 425+ get?

Double Down will also a winning parallel but it will be considered "Special", so it will be somehow a bit different. Double down winners also wont be a month/month winner, but will count throughout all 6 months. Only 1 winning parallel type per player for the year with Double Down. ( so no need to win a double down each month)

A little off topic, but does anyone here have the Ozzie Albies HR challenge from 2019 that was 1/1? I think it was April or May when they were screwing it all up.

It was May, and I do have it (April "error" was #/5). Sorry, it's not for sale though.

FYI- Date selection window is working now. Only April is available to choose but rules state we should be able to pick the following month as well.

I wrote an email to Topps and today received a reply. Seems to me Vlad Jr has been written out of the home run challenge- Austin Meadows is his replacement?

Actually, you are not even able to enter Buster Posey HRC codes, lol.
There's a description under the input box that explains his codes are ineligible to even enter. Maybe they will save his codes for the Series 2 replacement?

This has been resolved. Vladimir Guerrero Jr now appears after his codes

Great thread thank you so much!! I was going to try and get 162 Joey Votto's to get one of every winner parallel. Now I see I only have to hit once in a month and then can hold for the next month. May even try to do a couple of the double downs now since I already have about 60 Votto's.

Its Opening day and April is the only month to choose as of now. I was certain May selection options would open today after 9am. That's not the case. It was supposed to open April 1st. Topps even made a post letting us know May selection screen was open

If May ever opens up- it surely will be a very low month of parallels. The rush to enter codes for opening day has come and with no other option to choose but April.

I still don't understand why I can't cancel a code for a game that has been postponed. Or why its not auto canceled. Glad I didn't buy any of these and only entered in one's I pulled.

Based on the OP:

Sounds like each player will only have 1 Double Down card produced for the entire season regardless of how many 425+ homers they hit that are correctly guessed? So if I get a DD correct on my first try, then I shouldn't have to do it the rest of the season (assuming I only want one special card), right?

Thats Correct. So take Juan Soto with his 428 foot HR last night. If you Doubled Down on his HR, then you would win his "Special" Parallel. If you DD Soto again in July and he crushed another +425ft HR, then you would win another same special parallel.

FYI- winning Double down will not likely also win you a regular monthly parallel. Perhaps there could be months where the monthly parallel would be lower than the "special" DD end of the year parallel??

Glad to see at least 1 Double Down winner on Opening Day. Soto got all of that HR and still barely went over +425.
Bregman & Arenado also hit HRs, but they went less than 400 ft.
Ill once again post a chart each monday showing some current results. We'll be able to keep track of DD winners this way too

More fun today! although i see some rainouts incoming...

I doubled
Down last night on Soto and I didn’t even know it was his 100th career homerun too! I think that is a pretty cool tale to go with the card whenever I get it’

If a player changed teams before the season started will the winner cards have them in their new uniform? For example will Freeman be a Dodger card?

They did last year with Lindor, Baez, Soler, and Gallo so I would assume they would again.

2 weeks left in April. There are 6 active players still needing a HR. Acuna has a chance to get back in April, but likely early May. 5 Players have hit double down distance.
