why is there a customize set? this year is weird. i was able to place just the auto set of 3x for 169.99 but now it says base+auto set bringing it up to 169.99 + 49.99

Someone on Twitter said Topps forgot to update the coupon code from last year, and SPRING21 works, but that doesn't work for me either.

Friggin' Topps. Sends out email advertising promo code. Promo code doesn't work.

I feel bad for those who pay $350 for an Angels auto just to receive Brandon Marsh; no offense to Mr. Marsh.

Same with those paying $200+ for the Rays and receiving Brandon Lowe.

This just came to my mind, if they combine the listing of base cards and auto with "CUSTOM" function, how are we going to know when a certain autograph set has sold out??

I would assume the feature to add the auto set would be removed and just leave out the 49.99 base sets

the custom function sucks. you have to buy the auto set then pay another 49.99 for the base set so you are getting 6x base sets and 3x autos.

Dodgers ridiculously priced.
White Sox seem like a good buy...especially if you believe in Jimenez.
Blue Jays a little more of a gamble with Berrios but pretty decent.

I miss the $85/$100 options of years past.

Now to figure out which base I want...I can chill and think about it for a while.

I think you are only getting 3x base set and 3x auto in your case anyways.
The additional custom is to add the 1 autograph, not another entire "set with autograph".

I was able to buy just the auto sets as soon as it popped on the site. but I do not see this any longer.

I thought the Cardinals was a decent deal. $130 with a chance for either Yadier, Goldy, or Arenado.

Yeah...noticed after my post...great players...can't go wrong with just one...still a bit pricey (but they all are)...there is a chance you get a /49, /25, etc... though.
