People with bowmans best cards/wax are going to say its a rookie. People with no bias will say its not. Bowing out. Either way, I hope you do not pay high prices for this card because it will go down when 2022 rookie stuff comes out.

I guess my 2018 Princeton Rays Team Set Wander Franco is his "true" RC since it was his first card produced. Or 2018 EEE.

I change my mind, it's the 2022 Topps "RC Logo." I'll stick with that.

This is a "hobby" that buys fake jersey swatches. Don't give the collective too much credit, especially the "new" faces we've attracted.

There's some recent players in basketball that don't have rc logos and are considered rookies. Majority of hockey has no rc logos.

Yeah, Topps, the MLB and MLBPA need to get that straightened out.

One problem with Bowman’s Best - it’s lost in the Topps/Bowman hierarchy of Products, and never lives up to its name ~ “Best”

My issue is that under this criterion, then this is also a rookie card for players that likely won’t be in the MLB for a few more years (e.g., Cristian Hernandez, Jordan Lawlar, Brady House, Jasson Dominguez, etc)

As we all know, Wander was really a Rookie in 2021 —- but it’s more profitable for Topps to “act as if” He didn’t qualify until 2022!

As a casual participant in the hobby, these types of issues typically steer me to the first Bowman auto.

I think these types of issues steer people away from baseball all together.

No one wants to deal with 1st bowman, 1st auto bowman, 1st rookie, this and that. Football/basketball/hockey don't have these issues.

Baseball is vintage then junk wax then 20 years of failed prospects with Trout throw in between.

Correct. That’s how it works. I will pick up the second year cards with the RC logo also. The less people that pick up the Bowman’s Best the better for me. I don’t want to pay crazy prices.
