Unless ePack box prices are 1/3 of physical. Since physical is ~$60 a box ePack should be $20-25.

Epack you also get digital cards instead of physical. You always have to combine like 10 digital base to get 1 physical base, but the digital base cost more than the physical hobby base. Only benefit is that the e-pack base are epack exclusive usually.

You might still get 3 hits. Epack just says: 1 Auto, Sketch, or Memorabilia card per box, on average

Physical says 3 hits, which also includes 3D, film cels & manufactured relics.

Eh I bought some…even at 5.99 a pack. Got one court relic and 1 3d card in just over a box worth of packs total. Not great. Won’t buy anymore lol.

I think UD is overestimating demand for this set on e-Pack. $92.99 per box when physical hobby boxes are selling for $60 seems like a bad move. Maybe I’m wrong though and it’ll sell out in a week.

You are not wrong, but there are more variables. The box price on epack is definitely not good. BUT...because epack has achievements, specifically ones with lebron autos, gamblers are gonna gamble. or achievement hunters are gonna hunt.

True enough. e-Pack achievements are always a factor. Like you suggest, some people are probably going to spend big on this. But I really think casual collectors will look at the price and think twice about buying much.

This definitely should have been a $2.99/pack release on Epack. Hopefully, people don't buy so Epack prices can go back to reality.

I don’t think the ePack pack price ($5.99) is that bad for this. Consider ePack Mickey Mouse price is the same price (for - 3 card pack) and best Mickey hit is probably a comic cut (likely $20-$40 on COMC) and the big Mickey achievement is a cover cut (only one on COMC and it is $100).

Mickey had all physical base cards.

I have 3 cover cuts (maybe 4, haven’t looked at them in a long time). Never paid more than $75. Most are unredeemed which tells you most of the product is still sitting on the shelf. UD should have done a BOMO but that hasn’t happened on anything (except grandeur coins) since the pandemic hit.

I am 2 cards short of a mini-master on the cuts (missing cards 31 and 77). It’s on my eBay watch list. Almost nothing new has hit eBay or COMC in 2 years. Most were purchased for $15-$20. Those sitting on COMC is because the price is too high.

Space Jam is overpriced. So’s Mickey. But epack is a scam. I bought 3 packs. Got a tier 2 film Cel. If anyone wants to trade it for a Mickey cut, let me know.

I wanted a nice Gossamer and/or Marvin the Martian base plate from this set and at least I got a cool Gossamer plate in trade.



I like the way it shows his name and it’s a nice “clean” plate where you can make out all of the details.

This is actually a pretty cool set that has fallen through the cracks as collectors have moved on to other stuff during the 2023 glut of nonsports products (mostly Marvel and Star Wars).

I had been holding off buying auto cards of the main cartoon characters I loved as a kid. Yesterday I happened to be browsing and was surprised by how low some of these are. Most of the below characters were purchased for less than the price of 3 ePacks. Only Bugs ($27) and Speedy ($65) cost me more than that.

I really like how the cards look… here are the seven I bought. Basically all the old cartoon characters outside of Granny and Fudd (both of whom I can live without).

I have a ton of cartoon autos from this set purchased from COMC, all for under $10 each. Not sure if I will keep them all, as there are so many variants of each auto that are basically the same card.

Bug Bunny I grabbed when he hit $20. Speedy at $40.

The prices will get cheaper as more packs sell or the set goes on sale. Then once it's sold out for a year or two, the prices will slowly creep up.

I think this set is a perfect BOGO candidate if UD ever goes back to doing BOGOs. However, my guess is UD is in no rush to turn back on the BOGO sales.

They did have this set tied to a convention promotion pack but I don’t think it spiked sales too much.

And yes, there are a lot of variants of each auto. I just went for the cheapest. With autos I don’t really need to own the rarest parallels. I’m cool with cards that just display well.

BO had 20 box blasters for $100, which was a good price for someone wanting to rip and make sets.
I would maybe buy more if hobby 20 box cases got down to $600.
