not sure a Score product has much value at $30.00 a box, let alone $300

I miss the days of an easy double $$ rip and flip on dirt cheap Score. At one time was a fantastic entry level product.

At this point in time, I would say there is no such thing as an entry level product. Oh well. I actually do like Score , unlike many, and was willing to hand out the $ for some today. But thinking it over more, Im having a hard time justifying spending over $300 for it, even if i like it. Hindsight.

Agree 100% on this. Heavily underrated photography.
One of the best releases in that category (IMHO).

I haven't bought a box since last year's score and I don't plan to buy anymore boxes anytime soon. My new thing is to wait for optic/contenders and just buy all the singles that get posted for cheap af.

Its release day and the race to the bottom. Was fast and furious. Down to $20 already

First product I ever bought when I got into the hobby was 2010 Score Football. It was a retail only product and was $1 per pack, so $50 for 50 packs. Now, it's 10 jumbo packs at $35 per pack. It's just insane what happened to this hobby in 10 years or so. I was always told Score was the cheap product that was more for set collectors and kids. No way ANYONE is doing the complete Score set this year at $350/box. This is the first year since I started in 2010 that I just can't afford a box. It's either a box of Score Football or I can hit the board game shop and walk out with 5 or 6 good games. Looks like time to shift more money into that hobby as at least the enjoyment lasts more than 30 minutes.

I did break down and buy one hobby

Also did a half case break for my browns. Hit the Red Zone auto of Anthony Schwartz which is exactly what I was bidding on it for was one if his lower print runs.

Also bought into a full case bit something tells me I'll be waiting a long time for that to fill as it was buy it now and only 2 teams have sold do far. And he has like 938 in the Jags which is redicous for score

Complete joke IMO, which sucks. $35/pack at the LCS ($350/box). What on earth can you pull out of this product you can make you whole on your purchase besides an auto of Trevor Lawrence, Zach Wilson or Justin Fields?

Consider yourself lucky, It's $380+ tax at my LCS.

I normally avoid ripping score at all costs. I've picked up a few base sets from recent years for like $30 off ebay & couldn't think of anything that would be in that box that'd make it worth anywhere near the asking price. I haven't ripped anything in ages & the shop near me had them for $280, so I figured what the hell it'd give me something to do with the kids on Saturday night. I knew it'd be bad, but man it was worse than I expected. The collation is terrible. I didn't get a single card in the 100's & doubles of nearly everything in the 200's. The cards are so thin that with the colored edges it's tough to get a card without at least some white edges. I did get a Trevor Lawrence scoreboard & gold parallel /50, so I probably did better than a lot of people, but man that is just not a good product. I originally thought about building the base set, but I don't think I even got half the set in my box so I'm not sure that's even feasible. Oh well.

$300 is a crazy price for the lowest of low end products. Especially since the draft class aren't even in their NFL uniforms yet. I usually collect this every year because it's a decently fun rip and a fun set to collect, but at $300 a box it's an easy pass.
