It's begging for buyer's remorse and returns.

lol right , pack fresh means anything opened in modern time where people have sleeves and loaders ready to go. Most of the damage happens through printing and packaging and even shipping and stocking. It could go right out of the pack into a pillow soft penny sleeve getntly placed in a toploader or 1 touch and still be a PSA 6.

Agreed, less is more with the promises.

i write psa ready on some of my listings

some cards just arent worth it for me to sub when im spending 3-5k on grading fees every 2-3 weeks

if i dont think the card will appreciate much by the time it gets back to me or if i think it could drop im value then im selling it raw

The "pack fresh" thing really annoys me. I suppose vintage is stale and tastes like garbage = no value.

My favorite is when the title says True 1 of 1. Then you look at the card in the picture and it's 1 of 75.

Or when it's a 1 of 1. Sure, but it's such an oddball item that it's no surprise there's one one of them out there. Doesn't mean it's a grail or super valuable. Another sales ploy to take advantage of the newbies.

I saw that listing - pretty sure it's not a refractor version, and it was awfully green, shame.

My biggest one is "Invest" or "Invest now". That one really bothers me for some reason.

Can't forget about "undergraded." If all the sellers areso sure the cards are so undergraded, why doesn't the seller just resubmit them? Granted, I've seen a few genuinely undergraded cards, but most of the time it seems like a gimmick to lure in newbies with inflated prices.

Keyword spamming that's everyone's pet peeve and yet eBay supposedly can't do anything about it.

I for one would never put "PSA" in a title unless the card were graded by PSA and no one else.

Or when they say NOT PSA 10, Not Zion, NOT etc... Ebay is a mess and I cannot stand it but forced to use it

They DO come out of the packs like this sometimes though, so they're technically not lying. Panini's quality control is pretty terrible.

That's because of how many people are buying "refractors" without even knowing how to tell the difference. Just another way of scamming the ignorant.

"Pack Fresh" is a PWCC-ism that everyone copied.

I felt the hobby went to shEEt when a legend like Greg Morris moved to the PSA ready listing. Dammit Greg! Dammit. Then I realized, no Greg has not crossed over to the idiot Dark Side. Some idiot put Greg Morris Cards in their listing!

Now, "Like New" condition is something preferred by some sellers here so I guess that's a thing now.

Completely agree that "PSA Ready" is meaningless. Presumably, they mean that it will grade well but how well? I always ignore these listings as gimmicks. "Pack Fresh" also really irritates me because it's not like cards spoil over time like food that isn't fresh. But, I did try an experiment a few times where I put "pack fresh" in the title for cards that I thought were mint and they ended up selling really well. Small sample size and they might have sold well anyway since they were good cards in mint condition...but I still have a suspicion that "pack fresh" might actually increase sales.

What bugs me more than anything in listings is when they say "No LeBron James" or "No Kobe". Tell me what's included, not what isn't especially when they are only doing this to increase views on their product.
