Assuming he goes to an organization that has any semblance of, well, organization, yes. I expect him to have an impact on game for the next 2 years of his career. If you think he is done, that is fine as well.

i know this doubtful that it happens, but could you image Nick Bosa on one side and JJ Watt on the other side for the 49ers with Kinlaw at DT and Fred Warner playing MLB?

my goodness...

JJ from 2012-2015 would be cool but current JJ, not really that exciting.

Pitt sounds really cool. Both Watts coming from both ends, that sounds scary. I approve!

Come to the Ravens, JJ, please! You get to play your brothers twice a year and the Ravens need a pass rush badly. Its a perfect scenario.

JJ isn't "done" but he's definitely much more of a star name than a star player at this point in his career. He'll be a nice get for whoever signs him (assuming it's at a reasonable price) but not a game changer.

Buccaneers don't want or really need JJ Watt. Maybe 5 years ago but not now. They're doing just fine as is....

Obviously you would have to think Watt is going to be chasing a ring instead of who will pay him the most at this stage in his career, otherwise he probably would have just wanted to stay with the Texans. I would have to think Green Bay is the front runner here but of course the key is going to be if the front office wants him and if they will at least pay him reasonable money to make it worth his while. Otherwise the next in line I would see the Bucs or the Chiefs.

Buffalo Bills make a lot of sense here too. They really need a player who can get to the QB without having to blitz all the time.

he's the only threat on the Houston D-line, but in SF, you'd now have to contend with Bosa and Watt.

Bosa was a tough task alone, now imagine adding Watt?

could be a second wind to his career. i still remember the wonders that Justin Smith did for Aldon Smith back in 2012.

Whoever gets him will get 2-4 games out of him before he's on IR anyway

JJ Watt will be a force on the edge as a contributor for at least 2 more seasons.

Maybe the best days are behind him, but I see him ending his career much like Chris Long did.
You mean 3x DPOY ;-)

To much uncertainty with the packers and Rodgers. Same reason he won't end up in Pittsburgh.

Cleveland seems like an odd choice. I'd think he wants to win a ring
