I genuinely hope it ends up being Lakers/Nets and LA sweeps them. There aren’t 3 players I dislike more in the entire league and now they’re all on the same team. Crazy.

He's an expiring deal so you could probably shop him or just see how the season plays out. Not a big deal to Cleveland either way I'd imagine.

Now he probably doesn't get brought back since you just got a guy 5 years younger and Drummond will probably still want big dollars (not what he currently makes... but relatively big)

It will be interesting to see how the big man logjam is handled.

But I absolutely love getting Allen for that Milwaukee pick (Exum is hurt and worthless)

Blockbuster Trade. Nash has the chance to create something special like Kerr did.
If they focus on Basketball and stay healthy, well, Earthquake coming from Brooklyn!
Gimme Nets vs Lakers plz

Jarrett Allen for a pick that's going to be like 25-30? Dude is putting up 11/11 on very few shots a game (obviously playing in BKN) and is only 22

Yes please.
Had the raptors had an extra 1st that would be in the late 20’s I would have been tickled to get Allen. Dude plays defence, doesn’t need the ball on the offensive end and has one beautiful fro

Rockets now have 7, 1st round picks over the next 3 drafts, use some of that capital and get another win now player in that line up.

I wonder if Nets gave up too much for another ball-dominant player?

Well, when your history is Michael Ray Richardson and Chris Dudley, I think its fine.

There's some chatter that Kyrie may not be coming back this season; so there might be plenty to go around if that proves to be accurate.

How many games are even played together with all 3 of them, I feel like there is no way they make it to the end of the season together and only a matter of games before this implodes and we see another trade.

There's only one ball though. I don't see one of them reinventing themselves as a catch and shoot type player.

All it'll take is one double double in a Cavs uniform or a couple highlight blocks and BOOM the Jarrett Allen thread will become a real thing!

History repeats itself as Brooklyn loves trading away all of it's first round picks.
Cavs are crowded at center now...already got Drummond and Javale McGee. Olapdio gets himself out of Indiana too as he wasn't happy there either!

Durant $39,058,950
Kyrie $33,329,100
Harden $41,254,920

Total = $113,642,970

Those three guys make more than entire rosters of Kings, Knicks, Thunder and Hornets.

What a deal with Houston. They basically guaranteed themselves a lottery pick for the next 8 years along with a nucleus of Wall, Dipo and Wood. If any of the first two regain their form they can even move them for something.

Also nice deals for the Pacers and Cavs.

The hottest of takes in here.

The Nets are now far and away the odds on favorites for the title and guys acting like they lost this trade.

Ok I'll say it....I'll miss Harden. And I'll always be a fan.

The guy could ball. But let's be real...he'd ball if he was the only one WITH the ball, never gave other guys the chance.

Between the 3 in BKN, I think Kyrie will be the first to flinch. Durant is pretty quiet most of the time and he'll do his thing. Harden will have to adapt, which I don't quite see that happening so quickly. I think all three will eventually take the court, but one of them won't be there next year.

Wall (personal favorite) and Oladipo in Houston is going to be fun. They both want to win, they both still have stuff to prove to the NBA....I hope these two ball out for my Rockets.

Sounds like a great move to trade away their depth, including an emerging star in Levert then...

With what depth? And what if Kyrie doesn't come back?
They were already a favourite before the trade, subject to Kyrie's status. Now they have 2/3 stars, Harris and... Musa?

I just can't believe Houston got so much when Harden was clearly done with them and his value was at its worst.

They traded 2 players to get 1 (Kurucs doesn’t play).

They didn’t give away any “depth”. They’re literally one bench player short.
