Not exactly a 2021 pickup but got this in a buyout of a bunch of different stuff - corners are actually sharper than my shyte phone's camera can show.

Picked up a 1971 Ted Simmons rookie. Beautiful card and the edges, corners, and surface is amazing for a raw card from that time period.

I think a lot of us are kicking ourselves for not buying that card. If you ever want to sell it for the same price you bought it for I would be willing to take it off your hands

Wow, congrats Ignatius. That is a very high end looking PSA 5. With that great centering and seemingly sharp corners there has to be some kind of surface blemish somewhere that drove the Ex rating. Either that or the grader was in a very pissy mood.

There’s a brown mark on the back in the middle of the comic panel and some chipping of the green on the back (common for 54s). It’s definitely a great card and I’m super happy to have it in my small Jackie collection (a 50 Bowman, this 54 Topps, and a 56 Topps).

This thread is starting the year off strong. Some awesome cards already! This is the year I save some money.

Just kidding, new Mantle pick-up. Love the lack of text on the '53 Bowman.

Nice looking card for the grade. I think the 1953 Bowman is his nicest looking card.

The 53 Bowman is definitely underrated. What a great image!

One more to add to my 52 Topps collection. With only highs remaining, this won't be updated often.

Card isn’t a new addition but the sleeve inside the one touch is. Loving these Bowman insert sleeves. Keeps the card very nicely positioned!

I really hate to say it, and I could be wrong, but that card looks a little fishy to me.

Maybe...I've had it for a while and bought it along with other cards from the set.
