Love the Padres and their young talent. I was sad when they traded away / let go of some of their prospects (Franmil, Franchy, Margot, Urias... Ugh) but still have a small position in Tatis and Gore. They're fun to watch and root for. I have a little on Padres +3500 to win the WS as well

Tight game except for that one inning. Angels should be scoring 10 runs a game with that HoF lineup. Baseball is weird.

Happy Mike Clevinger Day ! Our new ace has the backing of a Padres offense that's scoring an avg of 7.67 runs per game since the Texas series (per Reddit) and leads MLB in Runs scored. If we improve our Pitching, it'll be more Sunshine in the forecast.

He’s cooled a bit, but I’m still in love with this card:

Need to get GORE in on the action to face Kershaw Game 1 in the playoffs. IF the Padres can get Gore on track then they will dominate the playoffs. He is the secret weapon the Pads have been hiding all season.

That's a beaut! I think the whole Padres team took the day off with him today. Clevinger was great, but I expect the Offense will come back when Grish is back at leadoff.

I agree, this was the most 'meh' game in a while. I really hate seeing Tatis lead off, and I am not sure why Grisham had the day off to start with.

On the other hand, you know it's a special season when the 'meh' games are few and far between.

Campusano called up. The future is now!

Not sure why Grisham is batting ninth and Tatis is leading off today. Given my decades of internet experience, I declare this to be wrong.

Go Padres!

Anyone know where I can buy a game used ball from this season? I tried the Padres Store but they said they are not selling game used items.

CAMPY with a homer! Welcome to the Bigs! Friars are swinging again, B2B Tatis & Machado and now the rook.

Did you try the auction site, they sell stuff there too. Under SHOP on the Padres website.

The Padres have this official auction website. Saw a couple of machado game used balls on there.

I ended up buying a couple of overpriced Tatis balls on ebay, but felt compelled.

Yeah I have seen the ones on the Padres website, but they are going for big $$$. Not really looking for a home run ball, and I know they throw a lot of balls into the dugout during the games for authentication. Maybe they will have them in the store during the offseason, when everything gets back to somewhat normal.

I saw the Tatis balls but they are from 2019. Nice pickups!

They're a top pitcher away, IMO. I'm curious if they'd be willing to trade some of their impressive young guys for an arm.

Might be time to bring Gore up and see what he can do. Paddack has been awful the last few starts, he's going to be tough to trust for the playoffs.

Solid series win up at Oakland against a great team. Richards looked terrific except maybe they left him in a tad too long. Tatis showed amazing opposite field power on that HR, didn't even look like he hit it hard. Pomeranz and Rosenthal shaping up to be our shutdown relief core heading into the playoffs. Pitching is coming around!

Huge upcoming series with the Rockies.

Thought the Padres were going to get a nice cushion leading up to it, but Rockies really took it to the Dodgers.

Giants are right there too if they put together a nice run.

Hopefully Paddack puts it together in his next few starts and they can sell high on him in the off season. He’s a head case and has his brother feeding him negative talk he finds on twitter. It will only get worse when fans can actually can come into the ballpark. I think a Myers/Paddack package would appeal to a lot of teams, help us restock the farm and free up some money to extend Tatis.

Right now 4 teams from the NL West would make the playoffs, which would be bad news for the Dodgers. Padres should have Pham back by then which should make a huge difference since LF has been the hole in the lineup.

It has come to my attention that Bro Hymn is the victory song of the San Diego Padres.

If I wasn't before, I'm officially on the bus.
