Last I checked a good portion of Baseball collectors aren't the most honest folks, they think social distancing and personal space shouldn't exist, and (at least here in the South) masks are the mark of a liberal and they'd rather die than wear a mask.
Exactly why I just can't see myself going to a show or any gathering at the moment. Its only baseball cards, not ever worth the smallest health risk, much less Covid. Just need to stop these things this year, take care of ourselves and come back strong in 2021.

No, totally not blaming you man! Haha, I really appreciate passing along when Atl shows are happening. A month ago this was looking really good to me, but like you said Georgia's a new hotspot so it feels like it's not a good idea at the moment. Hope I can make one in the near future though

The San Antonio show is a go. It will be at the San Pedro Event Center. I just received a text from the promoter. Max capacity will be 230 people to include dealers. Mask are required and most likely temperature checks to get in. Hand sanitizer and masks will be provided. Show times are 10 to 5 on Saturday and 10 to 4 on Sunday.

I'm planning to go on Sunday to the one here in Atlanta. I'm going early and I'll wear a mask. I don't plan to stay too long...just wanted to see a few vendors and get out.

I feel like Im somewhere firmly in the middle of the covid discussion. The kids have been out in public very little since March and I stick mostly to the supermarket and golf course. While I don't have any real fear of contracting Im trying to be cautious.
The idea of not only being that close to a bunch of people, but more importantly to me I just don't feel comfy slogging through bargain boxes after others have. The surface of a toploader seems like a decent place for critters to chill.
My wife's grandfather is turning 90 next week and we'd like to spend a little time with him.

Im not pretending to know much about the virus, just trying to be sensible. Card shows don't seem sensible to me right now so I'll be skipping them for the time being.

Did anyone check out the show today? I was wondering if they had it in the same room.

Unfortunately, with us expecting our first child in October I can't take the risk of going to a card show at the moment. Would feel terrible if I brought anything home.

So does rioting and looting but it hasn't slowed that down.

Ok poster boys, be smart, geezus, quit going to target Nd Walmart everyday too. Idiots, you can say you have reason, but we all know. Stupidity breeds more stupidity.

Wait... someone exercising sensibility and small personal sacrifice? Is this allowed?
