Thank you for all your valuable insight. I cracked 2-24 count boxes of these racks (from a sealed 3 box case) and have gotten ZERO Ripkens, but plenty of Griffeys, Johnsons (full black sign) and all other players. The Treadways were of the corrected variety- no target errors. I'll rip the last box and see if Billy is to be found.... |

No problem. Thanks for sharing the pics. Crazy with the amount of "89 F I've opened I've never seen those. Wonder if PSA will grade those individual cellos like they do with the 60's cellos from racks. With PSA not grading 89 F cellos (at least currently due to potential extra card(s), those individual cellos may be the only way to get Star/RC showing on top from 89 F in a slab. Sealed case with no FF...unsure if it was resealed or a case with no Ripkens as I was told K-Mart asked for. Or could of been when they were marking them (saw cut) and did not have a replacement yet. I've seen rack cases with clear tape over busted Fleer tape or Fleer tape removed and replaced with clear tape. Must of been done awhile back when FF was a $100 card as the tape was yellowing. I've opened a case or 2 stamped to be shipped to K-Mart with no Ripkens and opened a K-Mart case with BBox. Last edited by 1989FF; 04-19-2019 at 04:30 PM. |
