I don't care where LeBron goes as long as he leaves Cleveland.

Also, want Cavs to package Love + 8 to move up to 4 to take either Luka or Bamba if they are available. If not I'd be really happy with Porter/Sexton.

No matter what happens I will be happy as long as LeBron and Love are gone in Cleveland and we start the tankathon

you're not going to get much for love. love + the 8th pick, i doubt anyone drafting in the top 5 will make that deal

too much salary to absorb to want to move up. Love's value is pretty low right now.

Bulls say they will match any offer made for Zach LaVine. What do you guys think about that? Seems like it could be a steep price tag, even given his potential.

Also sounds like Bulls are unhappy with Kris Dunn's offseason workouts thus far and may target a replacement in the draft or free agency. Man, this Butler trade gets better and better. At least we got Lauri out of it...

A very smart answer, right here.

Only way I can see that happen is if one of those teams up top has players they want to move who Cleveland would be willing to take on. Looking at those teams, I just don't see it.

Love also really doesn't fit the timeline of those teams....

But I think he does still have positive value to teams who are more ready to win now. Teams like the Jazz, Blazers, Pacers, and Bucks could all have interest.

I think the Cavs might need to trade love and the 8th pick for a solid player and then try to clear cap space by trading JR and TT for nothing to a team with excess cap space, assuming they’d take them. Then sign Lebron and another key free agent. Might be tough but somewhat doable.

The Blazers don't want to add salary. They have too much salary.

I'm intrigued by what they could get for K. Love. Plenty of teams will want him, maybe not for young talent though.

I need to take another look at the Spurs payroll, but I believe we could make a move for Lebron and then pay Kawhi the max.

That would be some pairing.

Have you heard anything about:

#1 - Kawhi's injury
#2 - Kawhi's relationship with Spurs management

I can't see LeBron choosing the Spurs unless he is 200% certain that everything is peachy as far as Kawhi is concerned.

Just encourages another team to try and screw the Bulls by making him a ridiculous offer.

Definitely agree with this. There is a report out there though that says kawhi is going to meet with poppovich soon. I have a feeling they will smooth things over

I heard the same. I can’t imagine Lebron and Harden on the same team, but I think Lebron and Kawhi can actually work well. If they managed to somehow add cousins that would be a dangerous team but they won’t have the cap space

I agree with this. I think him and kawhi would be great. Plus he'd be surrounded by role players that play D and hit the 3. The biggest thing here is of lebron could play in their system. Poppovich is a smart coach so I'm 100% sure he'd make some compromises for lebron and lebron obviously would have to compromise as well. I personally think this would be the best fit for him in theory

Reports have been that Kawhi is 100% healthy and that the Spurs are about to pay him. Probably after SA chases Bron.

I could see a situation where Kawhi wants to leave and he and Bron team up somewhere though. We'll see.

SA will need to make some moves. Pau gone most likely. Maybe Patty.

A Dejounte, D. Green, Kawhi, Bron and LMA starting 5 is pretty scary defensively. Parker and Manu off the bench with the 18th pick and maybe even R. Gay. Yikes.

Love it.

I actually believe we'd see LeBron energised defensively if we see Bron at SA.

Agree 100%. If Bron and Kawhi are both on the Spurs then the nba suddenly got a lot more interesting. I’d love to see that, along with Bron playing under Pop. I think Bron’s grown enough personally to make it work

Suns, Kings, Hawks, Mavs, Magic probably won’t trade their picks for Love but why not Memphis? They’ve already got Conley/Gasol they kind of have to try to contend. Why not dump Parsons contract for Love and swap picks? They’re not going to draft Jackson or Bamba or even Trae Young. I can see them being interested in Porter but why reach at 4 when he’d probably be there at 8?

There are plenty of reasons Memphis would be interested in a trade out of 4 if you think about it.

Interesting.

When is the draft and when will LeBron make his decision is the real question I guess.

If I'm Koby Altman I'm just going into the draft assuming that LeBron is leaving. I'm trying to use Love to either get more picks (something like #16 and Chriss from Phoenix for example) or to use him and #8 to trade up in the draft.

That would be a solid team if Lebron can play off the ball 40-50% of the time. Same for Houston. That'll give DJ time to grow and learn. If I remember, DJ is one of his buddies. The biggest ? is really how him and Pop mesh which may not be an issue at all.

I just don't think both Tony and Manu will return

Pacers have no interest in Love...don't put that evil on us.

It's not like the Pacers have enough to offer anyways.
