It's a lotto ticket. The base set and parallels are pretty much worthless unless it's one of the big fishes.

I'm in for two just to have two base sets. I rather order from Topps so that I have the option of replacing any dinged cards. I had to do this last year for some autos and parallels including a 1/1.

I think Blowout will be buying a lot of these. The more you buy, the more likely you will get one of the nicer autos. It looks there are 25 signers. Last year, I was buying around 12 sets or roughly 2x the number of signers.

I stand corrected, missed the finite non-autos. OK, then just expect some players with more autos than others.

Might be off, but I think it will sellout with Acuna and Ohtani possible...

I think 2730 is the maximum number of sets there could be, but there are most likely more than 910. remember, there are three different kinds of chase cards. so each set could have one of each.

Yes, that’s true. Good point. The Acuna 1/1 Auto will be in my set, so the rest of you can fight for the leftovers

Trying to read into it more. Chase and Base parallels are out of 50, 25, 10, 5 and 1, take into consideration the 2730 Base as mentioned, also have to figure 7 Alt Photos and 7 Rookie Teammates parallels to count in too.

My hot take is: 1 auto per set. 24 subjects with 16 parallel Autos each= 384 sets then you add in the unknown base autos. I don't think there will be photo variation parallels. So, 637 +2730=3367/3 = 1122 Sets. 1000-1200 sets. These will sell-out. I bought the 10 set max. IMO Ohtani, Acuna, Andujar, Torres, and Hoskins are all worth the price of admission and the parallel autos and regular parallels of some of the other RC will be worth some coin. Don't see a downside here. Heck, the base set could be $30-40. Finally, why would it take months to release? Sticker autos are shown.

Been greatly disappointed in the market value of any of these on demand cards. Great for a lottery ticket type gamble, but seems to fizzle out a week after release. I remember the last On Demand release getting all sorts of hype, only to be followed with huge disappointments.

I think it's wrong to assume that the parallels apply to the alternate photo and rookie teammate cards. worst case scenario is there are 2730 total sets -- with each set containing one of each parallel. that would be a TON of the alternate photo and teammate cards, since each of those chase sets only has 7 cards in it.

so perhaps each set contains two parallel cards and one of either alternate photo or teammate. if that is the case, there would be 1365 total sets. that would also roughly match up with 20 players signing 50 base cards each (1000), and all 25 players signing all parallels (400). my assumption is that the top five players have no base autos.

i bought some, but as has been pointed out, re-sale value on these has been very poor. even in the year of judge/bellinger. not sure ohtani/acuna will be a different story.

100% AGREE.

BUT......... These are ALL rookies. People seem to like those. They are giving us a lot in these sets for $75. A buddy and I went heavy on stuff last year and got skulldrug by On-Demand. I am a sucker, but can't see a reason not to buy a few.

You are 100% correct. The market crashed hard on these. I still have a ton of parallels.

I am not buying any this time around.

My wife purchased 10 sets too. I think she gets more excited when certain deals come up. Most of what I typed ^ was numbers she crunched before I even got around to analyzing the set LOL

Too risky with 25 auto subjects. You would have to buy at least 50 sets to give you a good shot at an Ohtani or Acuna.

Glad I was able to get 10. Where else are you going to have a chance at autos of Acuna, Ohtani, Torres, Andujar, Hoskins, ete. for $75? No where. Will all of these guys be in HHN? Probably not and the production will be sky high.

Agree. And with the limit of 10 per order and the very fast sellout, i am guessing not a lot of these were made.
