Parallels and inserts without jerseys and autos has always been my favorite. Autos, jerseys, and patches are ok but I typically avoid them unless they stand out to me.

Shiny cards, ever since I was a kid and pulled those hologram shiny inserts from UD, 92 or 93.

I might be a bit more extreme though. Memorabilia is memorabilia, cards are cards. Of course, it would be true to say cards are just another form of memorabilia, but that would also be missing my point/preference.

It used to be on card rookie autograph cards, but chrome/prizm rc parallels are my preference nowadays, especially silver rookie cards.

I am a refractor guy myself. One of the first types of cards that look awesome. I like Prizm but in my opinion prizms and refractors are NOT the same.

I like rare 90's impossible odds inserts that you rarely see pop up. Sets that take longer than a month of searching to put together....like this one I missed.

I generally collect autographed cards without jerseys or patches.

I find the designs more appealing and uncluttered. The cards need to have a 'classy' feel to them, e.g. good use of foil, font, colours, etc.
