There are 11 SS in the CGC census, the label shows March signing. I read somewhere Adlard has something to do with this shop.
Well this is just great. Either that, or they printed more than 500 of them.

Unfortunately I think they didn't print more and there are 11 on the CGC census already so at best 489 made there way into the blind boxes. Interestingly when you look at the press release from Image yesterday they have insert ratios for all of the variants except for the Negan book which simply says 500 printed. There is a big difference between how many are printed and how many actually made it into the blind boxes and call I am officially skeptical

Doesn't cause me any stress. Just trying to help you find the answer on your own instead of badmouthing the company and coming on here ranting about how bad they are.

The fact of the matter is, you're going to have overprints on anything that's printed. The manufacturer has to account for damages in the printing/binding/packing process. If a customer orders 500, the printer has to deliver 500 copies. So oftentimes, a printer may do an overage of up to 10% to account for damages in the production process. At the end of the job, they will either offer the customer the additional copies for an extra fee or they will include them with the final shipment at no cost. So when you see print runs advertised, just know that there's more copies out there on top of that. The sooner we all accept this fact, the better off we'll all be when it comes to these "rare" variants.

Source: I'm a graphic designer that has worked with printers for years and have seen how they make the sausage.

Doesn't mean those extras should find their way to market when you specifically advertised this as limited to 500 books. Keep the extras as replacements for damaged goods during shipments but don't send them to CGC 4 months prior to launch for grading

Those are Virgin covers, they are absent the Trade Dress. They are a little rarer, this is the odds from Image's press release yesterday:

25th anniversary-branded variant cover — 1/26
B&W 25th anniversary-branded cover — 1/102
Virgin (art-only covers without trade dress) 25th anniversary-branded cover — 1/170
Virgin (art-only covers without trade dress) B&W 25th anniversary cover — 1/511
Blank wraparound sketch cover — 1/1,022
Extremely rare sketch covers drawn by each series artists—25 copies per series of the 17 selected launches — 1/2,043

If you want to take a chance, Comicxposer has a limited number of boxes for sale right now for $250. If you use the discount code "New", you can get them for $212.50 plus shipping. Not sure how many they have or how long they'll last, so take it for what it's worth. You may get them in 3 months but...

I've noticed 2 separate sellers that each have 3 of the sketch covers for sale on eBay. I wonder if they got them out of one box, or had to open multiple to get them.

I preordered a box back in March when the became available, but after seeing the pictures of everyone else I was starting to second guess it. I got it home and said F*** and opened up the box.

I was starting to get a little frustrated when I started getting doubles of the common books.

I ended getting one regular variant cover

but then I will let the rest of the pictures speak for themselves

The sketch cover books are the thickest ones and the Negan book was the thinnest book in the box, so yeah I don't know how to explain how I ended up with what I did.

It looks like if you get a sketch you get more than one. There are some people on ebay with multiple sketches for sale.

3 sketches? Wow! It would have been nice to spread the wealth a bit, but congratulations!

I was shocked how they allocated the books that would end up in these boxes. It would be interesting to see if all the boxes with sketches end up like this or this was just a "hot box".

WOW CMS1! I love that DWJ Extremity Sketch.

I got 5 Blank Sketch covers in mine. Black and White Youngblood & Black and White Regression. It was ok. I don't understand the ratio stuff though.

It really depends on how many were printed, and how many "Slip Out" after the blind boxes are opened. if there ends up being a lot more than the 500 they say they printed, value will go down, but I can't imagine it's a huge overprinting.

the price is pretty steep already at $500 and if the book remains somewhat limited I can see that staying around that price as most Walking Dead fans are hoarders and without a steady supply, that price may go up. Just look at the Issue #100 Lucille variants that were limited as well, they've retained and gained value over the past few years.
