No Pestilence at my shop =/ but WOW that TWD issue was quite epic...there is even a letter from Kirkman on the last page that is heartbreaking.

I didn't get any Pestilence either which makes me a little sad.

You are right about that issue of TWD, very heavy. Best issue in a long time.

So... I was able to get a beauty of a copy of the JSC Secret Empire #1 Variant for about $3 at my LCS on Wed evening.

Went to the counter and had around $55 in books. He reminded me I had a $35 rewards credit available...which prompted me to check the variant displays. Found the JSC, handed it to him...and my new total with tax was around $59. Pretty happy with that score!

Yes it absolutely is.

165-167 is some of the best TWD work in along time.

The use of multi panel pages is really good stuff.
