For Harden to consistency score he has to go to the free throw line 10+ times a game. He doesn't get the tacky tack fouls in the playoffs and therefore is left shooting jumpers and he isn't a very good shooter. I personally cannot stand his game and the amount of flailing he does in trying to sell calls. He's also a terrible defender and has given little effort on that end over the years(I'm sure you can find plenty of gifs of his defense).

Also, Yes, he had a great triple double stat line tonight but he also had 8 turnovers. He's averaging almost 6 turnovers a game this season! That is atrocious.
Despite all your negativity he is probably the MVP if the season ended today.

I don't like the guy either, but 8 turnovers pales in comparison to the rest of his line tonight.

Harden's incredible. OKC trading him to save a few million is probably gonna go down as the worst trade in league history.

Harden is averaging less FTA per game than Russ and has 0.1 more TO per game than Russ. But Harden is a facepalm for MVP apparently.

Russ is also averaging a triple double while playing less minutes.

I'm not saying that Russ isn't a legitimate MVP candidate. You, on the other hand, said that Harden as MVP was a facepalm for reasons that apply equally to the guy you think should win.

The Rockets are also currently third in a stacked Western Conference. That counts for something.

At the moment the MVP is a two horse race. I'd give the slight edge to Harden at the moment.

We get it. You like one guy and not the other. One of the biggest issue with users here.

Surely his card prices get a nice bump from this performance.

His TO% is lower than all of those guys outside of Chris Paul (who is the GOAT of protecting the ball), not to mention those guys weren't also scoring 30ppg.

I think they actually can both win if the votes are tied, Grant Hill and Jason Kidd were co-ROY.
