I think these are pretty legit prices.

Scarcity drives up prices and these just don't turn up as often as they used to.

Incredible set.

Exactly man and compared to most of the panini junk these cards are worth every penny. And guys like ben wallace jason williams don't sign no more, and a iconic set prices are legit for sure i think.

It's amazing to me how this thread started with how (1)expensive final prices were, then (2) how they were likely shilled, including eBay ID evidence to (3) how awesomely rare and expensive they are so the prices must be right (4) how one of the ID's mentioned in the bidding up of these is shady, to (5) how legit prices must be because Panini sucks....................

I don't see a problem here.

People want the prices to be legit so the stock rises in price .

No regulation scammers running rife buyers beware.

No doubt that 04-05 Exquisite Limited Logo is valuable and the price has been rising from 200 to 400-500 bucks or more. That's the fact. But I think, in this case like some guys pointed out, the pattern of selling/bidding is very tricky. Certainly, always people thinking the price is worthwhile will pay for them while always some card listed at very high price for long time but no one buys even BIN is closed to the auction price. In market, it is not rare that a card with high value/high price loses its flow in the market. Just personal idea.

I can honestly say that I have been tracking most LL over the last two years since I am looking to buy some more. While the trend is most certainly going upwards in price, I can say that these are the most expensive cards sold in the last year or so, even higher than PWCC gets for most of them. Some cards like Jason Williams just don't surface very much, I've only seen 3 sold on eBay in the last 2 years, so it is bound to be higher and higher. Having said that, it always seems questionable when a group of cards sell at auction then are relisted one to two weeks later, which is what happened here.

I was pretty stoked to get this one of my PC player for $325 shipped last month. It is Pau's jersey number 16 too. This is a favorite card of mine.

I had my eye on the Steve Nash too but it went too high for me.

That is an incredible card, and yeah I was looking at getting the Nash or Parker but they both got a little high for me.

Thanks. Pau doesn't have an RPA so this was a big card for my collection. Hopefully I'll get another shot at the Nash someday.

That's the exact reason why something always seems questionable when they get relisted a few weeks later, and it seems that it is going to happen again with this same batch...

Ok, on review they look fake.

PWCC sold some 03/04 Limited Logos last week.

D. Robinson went for $203
P. Pierce $327

Someone didn't get their shill bids in by the looks. These are nicely priced.

Panini has really eaten into the price of many of these Exquisite cards, regardless if they're Exquisite. The fact that they continue to churn out prime patch autos (nice patches, btw) every year across multiple products means collectors have many different alternatives and destroys the luster and rarity.

Guys like Jordan and Jason Williams or other players that aren't currently under contract with Panini may experience price increase, but I can't see the others doing that much because the market is so saturated.

not true, as much as panini tries they take one step forward, then two steps back. they kills designs. how do you explain why kobe ud stuff is in such high demand over the panini kobe stuff?

Um. Kobe Flawless, Immaculate Prime patches and his Silo Prime patches are in plenty fine demand. Like I said, for most of the players that are also signed to Panini, there are just so many more alternatives for collectors, whereas LL's and other Exquisite subsets used to be collector's only option. There will still be die hard Exquisite set collectors, but for the majority, Panini is going to flood the market year in and year out with the same marquis names like Magic, Robinson, Olajuwon, Kareem, etc...that Exquisite no longer has the monopolistic stronghold it had for those same guys.

i agree with some of the sets being very nice, but with Panini flooding the market with those players just make the UD stuff that much more desirable.

panini has turned away more people than a hooker with a visible std

I wish this were the case (trust me, I really do), but group breakers have created a degenerate monster that just refuses to die.
