Set is dead. Ghosts are better than the predictable and boring. A very strong card isn't exciting since it was out last week. People are going to put a ton of money in to a set with the same images as other sets, just with blinged out borders. Same as it ever was as David Byrne and TBP would say.

But it may be the best Gibson yet. The colors. The not doing, doing again and then overdoing or underdoing the portrait. So much stillness. So much crazy action at the same time. It's brilliant. |

I admittedly have list interest in the set. Too much effort to check releases, companion cards and print runs daily. I'll probably just grab what I'm interested in when all is said and done. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk |

I think it may be people see the 2k print runs of 4 out of the last 6 cards and maybe hop back in thinking they are missing out? Or could be the popularity of the Don C and Rochester are climbing....I really like the Clemente....

Print runs falling, APs not selling. Some advice to Lurking Jeeves: put those APs in the regular print run and watch your profits soar!

Everyone sorta has their role in this set, and it's the role of Siff to (intentionally) do something unpredictable that pushes the boundary of good taste and realism. Siff's Tony Gwynn really has what I was feeling in Ghost Gwynn last night, just not as intensely since the card is more chill with the cool purple haze. |

Print run last week compared to the week before:
Total print run 8/24-8/28 - 37,358 (-5,564) Median print run - 3,672 (+332) Print run minus largest card - 31,786 (-2,635) Average run w/o largest card - 3,532 (-293) Largest card this week: Derek Jeter by Mister Cartoon (5,572 - 112.862% of next highest) Largest card last week: Mike Trout by Joshua Vides (8,501 - 117.304% of next highest) The stabilization continues as the difference between the lowest and highest PRs continues to shrink. This is the smallest difference (3,129) since week of #175-184 (3,103). Interestingly enough, Mister Cartoon was the high PR in each of those weeks. Even though the total PR fell, the median print run remained relatively stable, suggesting 3,500 is still a fair guess at an average PR. With Blake, Baller, and Trout confirmed for this week (and a Saladeen and a Griffey due), we'll get a little more info into what a "premium" PR should be.

![]() I hope Thiele goes nuts a couple more times. I think he has the chops to pull it off. I hope we see a bunch of set breakers too as we come down the stretch. Makes it more interesting (and I also think they'll display fine in any set; if it's one, throw it in the middle, 4, throw them in the corners, etc). |

Someone else needs to make a vertical card horizontal before this is all through. Only Mister Cartoon has had the GUTS to do so with his McGwire.

gmoney328 did you ever stop to think that saying a player's injury created a fantastic buying opportunity comes across as callous and offensive? I didn't deny the truth of your statement but every thought that pops into a person's head doesn't need to be voiced. If you were truly attempting humor in your recent post then you should have added something other than "Everyone that matters." So, if not just myself, there are a ton of other buyers whose opinion you couldn't care less about? How is that funny at all? Yes, new members join daily then get turned off by the snarkiness and belittling they get from the rest of the forum. As a P2020 collector yourself, if you wouldn't want new P2020 collectors sticking around for the long haul, I'm the one who doesn't know what to tell you. If you never want to see my posts again then please block. I certainly don't need to hear you comment again that I should worry about some kind of personal issue. |

No purchase necessary. There will be a web form I share on Tuesday, and people can get one entry for free, and additional 2 entries if they buy both my card and Ben's card (or 1 each). We have 4 total (of the edition of 10) that we are giving away. |

I do as well, and could kind of see him getting a laugh over it and it would almost fit the spirit of his set in a way. Maybe Fucci. Can't decide who would be the more likely candidate. I think Fucci already took his shot with his Ryan though.
