$46 billion for farm subsidies this year.

Farm industry will average 40% of it's revenue from government handouts in 2020.

I find it comical that a man who was born with a silver spoon in his mouth dodged the draft, fell ass backward into the presidency, and now complains about how the system is rigged against him.

I'm guessing his proposal will be to stop with the subsidies and let the American people starve.

I find it comical how much people bring up Trump draft dodging and allow Biden to have a pass for doing the same thing.

Cunningham's lead over Tillis is intact in polls after the sexting/cheating sandal he is currently embroiled in.

I think we can all agree - every day there is something new to shake our collective heads at.

seems like people only want to talk about Trump being the draft dodger, why even bring it up they both did it.

Covid is real
Covid sucks
We do need to get back to life - with precautions

And let me say this, the GOP loves to jump and down about protests - let me say this:

I can count MORE masks at a protest of 100,000 people than I can count at a single Trump rally of 1,000 people
You have 100x more people there. Even if only 2% wore masks, and 100% at a Trump rally did, you would have more. Science and facts.

That garbage was debunked as soon as it was posted.

This sentence may have put him in a fog. I'm trying to figure out what it means.

BTW, my industry is 100% shut down in Michigan. The SC of Michigan has stated that Whitmer has exceeded her powers, and she said that she still has 21 days before any changes would go into effect. She also is going to fight tooth and nail to keep things under her thumb. I'm very excited to have moved here a year and half ago. It's been dandy.

I said earlier I was making an exaggeration.

As an aside: I tried to count the masks at the Trump rally last night and for the 5 minutes I watched it (as they panned the crowd) I counted 5 masks.

Now this is NOT the entirety of the rally and all people - but a small sampling.

What was the exaggeration? Still makes absolutely 0 sense.

Crap - I re-reaad that too and it makes zero sense to me ....

I wanted to say: He gave me a hard time about the Sox as they sucked. And it failed - spectacularly..... ugh

As for you, I truly and sorry it is shut down. I hate these shut downs and we had one shot at them and they should have been done decisively. Had they been done, we would all be back to as close to normal as possible with the current situation.
As it stands, we have passed the lock down phase. Any attempt to do it will hurt us even more - I agree.
We need to get the economy started and we need to do it by being safe.

I find it hilarious that when the Dems and the media accuse Trump of something, that nothing is ever brought up to the fact the Dems have done the same things themselves.
The media is nothing but propaganda anymore and the majority of it is anti Trump.

Me too. I thought I was going to dislike her (though I wanted her confirmed anyway), but she is more impressive and likeable than I thought.

I will say it this way, do i agree with dodging no. Do I think it's relevant to bring it up when both candidates did it? No.

Assuming this is Abe Lincoln, the Senate was in recess. He immediately appointed when they came back from recess.

Adams was already a lame duck. He lost to Jackson, and then nominated.

Eisenhower, again the Senate was in recess. The appointments were named during the recess this time, unlike Abraham Lincoln who waited to nominate until the recess was over.

I don't think the Senate is currently in recess. Not the same. But I appreciate you suggesting I learn more. It is a good exercise.
