Same. I just bit the bullet and bought one for my Ichiro set.

Comparing it to the other 4 Saladeen cards makes me really disappointed that he didnt deliver as well on this. The detail in the previous 4 are stunning - the nicknames and the colors are great. Like someone else previously mentioned, I'm not a fan of the HUGE name at the bottom - really distracts from it being an Ichiro card.

I feel your pain. Saladeen Ichiro just now was the... 11th? 12th? AP I have had in my cart. Still never gotten to actually purchase one. Once after already on the checkout page I got the "Are you a bot" test while trying to submit payment. Yet somehow a handful of re-sellers have gotten dozens of them. It's frustrating, to say the least.

When I see this card, I'll be reminded of my frustration that it wasn't 10x better. Mostly because we have see what he is capable of as an artist with the other cards. Maybe his first 4 are his best 4 and they are downhill from here, but he set the bar very high for himself.

Lovin' the Ichiro Saladeen. I've been holding back on the last few cause I don't have the cash to get every one, but I'm picking up that Ichiro.

The top of the Ichiro card is too plain. Could have used a Topps 50 Years reference or a Mariners logo reference somewhere.

I don't mind the Saladeen in green on the bottom as it blends from a distance to look like grass.

Anyone recognize the background on the Clemente card? Is it from a different card?

The Beck Gooden just went at auction at $485, I know because I was the under bidder. Thinking of just pulling the trigger on one of the $495 ones now. This will BE the lowest print run of the set.

Saladeen is one of the two artist sets I am collecting. It sounds like some are not as happy with today’s release. For me, this Ichiro might challenge the Jeter for my favorite card in his set thus far. I love it!

Same, while the print run is the highest of them all, it takes an iconic card like the 2011 Update and makes it look even better.

The Baller Ichiro is still higher, but I don't think that will last long. The Beck Gooden IS the SP of the set and don't see there being a print run that low for the remainder of the set.

Ichiro is a little underwhelming
