California making a mass exodus into the state. Check the census data. Fleeing their politics and high cost of living.

Yup because you can immediately move and then vote in that state.

What do you mean fleeing their politics?
They're obviously taking their politics with them, hence the gains Democrats are making in Texas.

Only to vote in politicians that will turn their new home state into the same mess they fled from. Infect a new host and bleed it dry, then move onto the next victim.

Shhh!!!

Ah, ya got us. We finally figured out how to best use all our extra California Democrats.

With the Texas Gambit (Operation Jade Helm 17) nearly accomplished, a million or ten of my closest friends are already on their way to a whole bunch of lower population Red States. See y'all real soon, y'hear?

We all know it’s tough to change ones political views. Some are just not smart enough to understand some things.

700,000 left the state in 19. I wonder why so many. What’s your take on it?

Maybe they're fleeing the constant wildfires?

Probably tired of the beaches, mointains and deserts.

But seriously, a friend of mine and his family of 5 moved to Arizona in a rash decision in September.

Why? Real estate value/cost. 3 boys under 6...he needed space. Space that would cost above $3 million in LA County. His film industry job shifted to remote, he sold his small house for $1.3 million. A home he bought 6 years ago for $550,000.

Acre and a half, pool, hot tub, RV garage, guest house in back, and an almost 6,000 square foot house. Hello Arizona!

Politics? He didn't flee for politics. He fled for space.

CA is definitely seeing a net migration loss, especially in the lower income households. Over 100,000 net loss a year it seems.

As Yogi Berra once said, "a nickel ain't worth a dime anymore."

If Biden/Harris are going to run the country like Kalifornia, Trump just gained a sh-- ton of votes in his favor.

Do either of them currently run California? Has either ever run California?

Is Newsom going to be a part of the possible Biden Administration?

Is Diane Feinstein going to serve as crypt keeper?

How many actually is a "sh-- ton?"

Can Trump gain votes out of his favor?

Also, great, original and creative usage of a 'K' for California, it's kool and hip. (This may seem sarcastic, but it's really not. At all. Like totally not.)

Nobel Peace Prize gets announced in about 10 minutes, I'm rooting so hard for WHO, BLM, or Greta Thunberg just because of how much any of those 3 would piss Trump off beyond belief, would be hilarious to see that tweet storm in a few hours.

oh well, went to the World Food Program, which I'm sure is great and worthy of the award, just no upside of el dictator blowing a gasket when he wakes up (or watching right now in hopes of winning it, so maybe it will still make him angry lol)

I have 4 family members who moved from California to Arizona. All are registered republicans.

Fortunately, I don’t think it’s quite that simple.

https://mashable.com/article/yelp-al...cist-behavior/

“The "Business Accused of Racist Behavior" alert will only be put in place when Yelp can link to a news article about the incident. From there, users can make their own decisions about whether or not they will be a patron of the business.“

Unfortunately, with the way “racist” is loosely applied and the way articles are written, it seems like a low bar is being set for what will qualify a company as racist.

Boy, this thread is kind of dead without a few of the more interesting and extreme people posting. Almost three hours without a post? That has to be some kind of record.
