100 SB's who knows but I don't see another 50+ hr season because at some point he's going to start getting the Bonds treatment. Olson has been out of this world but maybe outside of Riley you take Acuna out of the equation can everyone else keep up at the pace they have been year after year ? Injuries and slumps happen it's just the game of baseball. Who was the last player to hit 50+ hr in back to back seasons ? Not Bonds which is who most would go to because believe it or not his only season with 50+ hr was the year he broke the record. It was A-Rod in 2001 and 2002.

There are only 10 players in the history of Baseball with 2 or more seasons with 50 or more HR in their career much less back to back seasons.

4- Ruth, McGwire, and Sosa

3- A-Rod

2- Judge, Griffey, Mantle, Mays, Kiner, Foxx

We know the story on McGwire, Sosa, Bonds, and A-Rod so remove them just on suspicion and that leaves only 6 players in MLB History with Judge being the only current player.

I don't think Acuna has stolen home yet in his career, which is surprising

I don't argue he is by far the 2023 MVP. I just think from a card standpoint he's pretty much done it all. There isn't much more reason to buy his stuff from a " It's going to keep going up " standpoint. IMO this off season or going into ST 2024 is the time to sell with the exception of the rarest of the rare stuff.

WS Champ- Check
MVP- Soon to check
Perennial All-Star - check
Hits alot of HR's year to year - check
Steals Bases like he just robbed a bank - check

Batting Title probably isn't happening maybe he sniffs the SB Record if he plays another 25 years. lol

Batting title is definitely a possibility at some point... He's 2nd rn I believe..LArreaz isn't a feared hitter. He's not going to win it every year, and RA's prime is likely still in the future as hard as that is to imagine.

Same could be said for almost every young prospect in todays hobby. It proves how out of whack modern cards are. Big time guys are having incredible years, but their cards are down. MVPs & ASGs are already baked in to todays prices. A WS ring is a price bump for that week'ish. JRod (as one example) is playing great. We all know he's going to play in a ton of ASGs and probably win an MVP while stealing a ton of bags. He's down 20%. A WS ring is going to bump him that much so you can then make money...nope!

The most incredible thing to me about his season that we aren’t talking about is the BB:K ratio. 78 BB, 79 K. I would love to see him end with more walks than strikeouts.

The Twins faked an injury for Arraez at the end of last season to preserve his only batting title. The Marlins have been benching him this season

Truly impressive 👍..I’m still in awe of the complete player he is. He’s doing so much so well across the board.

Wow..I'd never heard that. Remember that week people were acting like LA was a legit MVP candidate? Weak!

Well, no actual proof of it, but seemed real odd they gave him the last couple days off because of like soreness

.335/.414/1.006
41HRs
107 RBIs
71 SBs
148 Runs
220 Hits
83 BB / 83 Ks

This is Acuna's projected stats adding in final few games.

Even cut SBs in half, this is a season like we have never seen. Only 2 players have more than 70SBs in a season over the past 25+ years!

Around 80Ks for a 40+ HR hitter is amazing

This many runs in a season has happened maybe 2 or 3 times in the last 25 years!

He could potentially break the MLB record for RBIs by a leadoff hitter (old record is 103) *Acuna has 100 right now, Betts at 103*

There is no discussion, Acuna is the MVP.
