Because it gets the most replay. Let's stop acting like the arguably most memorable post presser wasn't drunk Cody and Jey.

And it's no different than the locker room interviews after a big playoff series win

Big playoff series win they are spraying drinks and not drunk making speeches.

But you are right that WWE thinks hey it can help get clicks later if Jey's drunk or stoned making a speech and says something funny/stupid.

It's going to be hard IMO to sell it. Just like AEW with the New Japan. Me like the average fan don't watch those promotions and have no idea who those people are in the company and it's going to be hard to sell those matches when you don't know who they are.

Yes, you get drunk players on mics once in those. And you get guys interrupting the interview, spraying the reporter and player, and running by yelling stuff. Yup, real professional.

But, since it's Jey, who has been celebrating the biggest win of his singles career, you guys have a problem with it. Then again, it doesn't matter how he would have done the interview, you guys would have had a problem with it.

What point? You cry about everything Jey does. You ignore the fact that the WWE has had a long history of average at best in the ring wrestlers holding top tier belts. You ignore the fact that Jey already had a HOF worthy career before he started his singles journey.

Jey absolutely deserves a title run and you know it.

Long term story telling. Gunther's weakness is his own move. NXT Takeover 36, Ilja got him to quickly tap using the same move.
