Dallas is a fine place for Luka. Cuban is a good owner who isn't afraid to spend and clearly wants to win.
Dallas is a huge market, great city in a big state. Why wouldn't free agents want to go there? Who wouldn't want to play with Luka anyways? Great players want to play with other great players regardless of where they are and Luka is clearly one of the best players in the NBA right now

I see Irving is taking another vacation week.
Played 8 games this month. Dude better slow it down!

I don't really see a scenario where JC is traded. The Hawks are going to rightfully ask for the moon. They apparently asked for Malik Beasley and a 1st round pick from the T-Wolves.

Dallas should be a hot bed for Superstar players, great city and pretty cool owner but that hasn’t happened ...yet. Marquee FA declining Cubes has become a civic curse for some reason. Maybe Luka could change all that, but I’m not too sure. Perhaps a coaching change would help. Talks of Carlisle not being a player coach has been confirmed by some. |

Dallas is a good spot for Luka. I'm sure people said the same things about teams like CHI and the Patriots before they started winning. In fact i know they did about NE they were the laughing stock of the NFL for awhile when i was a kid. Just 1 person changed all that for both teams though. Will he need help? Sure even all of the great ones did. No one wins championships by themselves. Some were just blessed to be surrounded by several HOF'ers sooner than others.

1) Harden getting his way 2) BG throwing down a massive dunk in his debut after year + without 3) Kyrie just unashamedly taking another break after we all know what he did last time if they stroll to the Finals/championship with some help from the other guys in black+white [much like the Lakers did in the bubble], then 'the fix' will be all too apparent for me and I might have to quit on the NBA... I guess we'll see how this plays out, but I'm already getting the vibe that this is how it might go down. |

But there's always the next guy to come along whoever that may be. Everyone wants instant gratification but sometimes things like winning championships take 5-6 years. It even did for MJ and LeBron. I think people forget that. |

I think Kawhi has a player option and that automatically makes him the biggest FA next summer. Other nameworthy that could fit in Dallas are; Lauri, Derozan, LMA and some restricted guys like Jarrett Allen, Duncan Robinson, J Collins. |

Durant hasn't won one without joining a team with another top 20 all time player, a sure fire Hall of Famer like Klay, and Draymond. LeBron without Kyrie, Wade, Bosh, AD, Etc. Just doesn't happen very often.

Durant didn't win a title without Steph and Co, sure, but he'd already racked up series wins vs teams that beat the Heatles. Multiple series wins vs Dirk and TD etc. The West was so brutal. LeBron, got me thinking what his biggest scalp is without his stacked teams, it's not pretty, probably a Jason Kidd/Carter Nets team in 07. Or maybe a Ben Wallace less Pistons team. You do need a top level guy though to win the big one alongside the star. How does Dallas make that happen? |

Or he was just testing his ankle. If he didn't test it, people would be calling him a wimp. I am curious how long he'll be out and if the Lakers fall out of playoff contention.

Does Kyrie Irving think he's Dennis Rodman and can take leave whenever?
I guess if the Nets and League let him it's no big deal.

I really should've been taking screenshots of Jokic's red/bloody arms after every game and superimposing his FTA for the night. We know the NBA hates the small markets but they need to make it slightly less obvious |

I didn't say he was a career loser, just that he has a career losing record without Pippen. It's not a take. Go look it up, it's a fact.

Crazy. Malone needs to send 2 mins worth of fouls from their last few games that didn't get called. It works

Pippen's 1st season he didn't even start 1 game and they finished 3rd in the East. Pippen's 2nd season he still came off the bench 17 games. Just a hot take right there. Pippen totes saved MJ amirite. Jesus.

He wasn't a loser without Pippen, he just had a losing record. It's not debatable. It's a fact. What isn't clear about that?
