So, does Randy get a match announced this Friday? If so, is it against Solo or Aldis?

The running theory i have been seeing is Alister Black for Orton's opponent.

![]() ![]() ![]() Wouldn't mind a return from Alister Black or even Rusev. The last time they did this was with Seth and it was Cody, this ain't Seth and Cody, no matter who you bring out...

I think Dwayne Johnson played the WWE. Last year big thing of him joining the board and got the trademark to The Rock name. Took part in WM but now that he's on the board and got the trademark he can tell the WWE no to anything they want him to do. They probably wanted him to be a bigger part of WM have a match and at least be around more to build up as the Final Boss character. Instead he just decided to sit around at home and say screw the WWE.

In a perfect world, AC/DC would play him out to "Back in Black" at WM.

Still would like to see Rusev come out as Orton WM opponent and lose and then lights go out come back on and Black in the ring and attacks Orton to set up match at the next PLE.

Orton IS on the poster for the next PLE and with the name being WM Backlash, it would lead you to believe something funky happens to him at WM and he needs payback/revenge.
I think it's also in his hometown...

Or it could easily have been produced awhile back like a lot of their promotional materials and slotted because Sami or someone was gonna screw him at Mania. DX’s return got ruined two months early cause they already had promo materials done.

See HHH did an interview saying yeah pretty much Jey stinks in the ring but he has a one word catchphrase that has him way over so we are pushing him for it. Which can’t blame the WWE he’s a cash cow for merchandise with his one word catchphrase

My unasked for opinions for WM41 cards:
Liv/Raquel vs Bayley/Valkyria: not that interested but I hope Liv/Raquel lose so that Liv can go back to chasing singles belts.. fits her character better IMO. War Raiders vs New Day: meh, could be fun. Big E contributes somehow? Priest v Drew: could be awesome as long as Priest keeps the botches to a minimum. Jade v Naomi: completely uninterested in this storyline. But this shouldve also been a street fight or a steel cage or something that complements the feud. Rey v El Grande Americano (NOT Chad Gable): this will probably be the end for the new luchador. LA Knight v Fatu: its about time Fatu gets a WWE belt of his own. Unfortunately LA Knight is just not a good champ. Breakker v Penta v Finn v Dom: best result would be for Dom to win. Would essentially pit him and Finn against each other moving forward. JD disbands (finally). AJ Styles v Paul: whatever. Could be fun. Stratton v Charlotte: terrible lead up to this. Charlotte shouldve never won the RR. Although I am happy I dont have to watch Nia Jax. Stratton needs to win. Gunther v Jey Uso: i think we all know that Jey is going to win. I agree with most that he's been forced but i think its a business decision at this point. He sells merch, kids love the hype music, etc. Roman v Punk v Rollins: insane amount of talent in the ring at once. The Heyman/Rollins rumors make sense. In a different world, we couldve gotten Brock v Roman v Punk.... oh well. Cody v Cena: watching Cena wrestle as a heel is going to be so weird for me. Yea, hes done the promos but still. I would be interested to see what actually happens if he wins. If Cody wins straight up, I'll be extremely disappointed.... because then what? |

Roman Reigns recently did a Vanity Fair interview and said after his deal expires next year that he is only going to wrestle 1-2 more years.

I don't think I've ever seen a guy get criticized so hard for 1 singular match (Jimmy at Wrestlemania) where I believe their match got cut for time, it was freezing cold and the crowd was more into staying warm than caring about the match. Nobody gave a crap that all SCSA did was punch and stun people. You don't have to be a 8 star indy wrestler spamming high spots like you and Jericho want to have an entertaining match.

"Jey has great athletic ability and the things that he does in the ring, he does well. Is he the most technical guy here, no. Is the greatest performer on the face of the earth in-ring, no. But, he has a charisma and a likability that he lets people in and they want to see him succeed. When you walk into a building with 10,000, 30,000, or 60,000 and he walks out and that whole place is doing his entrance with him and is hanging on everything he does and are hanging on his words and his moments, that’s what it takes to be a top guy. It’s about box office. Jey is proving what he said he was and that’s Main Event Jey Uso. Whether some people like that or not, there are people like Gunther who believe the in-ring is what matters. He’s either going to beat the entertainment out of Jey Uso or Jey Uso is going to survive all of that and prove that the box office is where it’s at.” And here is what he said right before he made those comments "A lot of people think — There’s a lot of criticism about this, that it’s just the in-ring product, it’s just this, it’s just that how technically good of a wrestler you are. Make me a list of the greatest performers in this business and that list will be two thirds of people that were worse than the majority of the list of great workers that didn’t get to the top." There's a very long list of top guys in the history of the company that were average at best in the ring. I really don't understand all the hate directed at Jey. |

Jey has charisma off the charts, his aura and presence are off the charts. The crowds are into his matches because of it. So he's never having a Toyko dome 6 star clinic, who cares?

Watching Cody Rhodes on 1st take...trying to "keep kayfabe alive" by staying in character and answering the questions was pretty damn cringey

You mentioned SCSA. Hogan was another one. Reigns and Cena have never been known for having great in-ring skill. |
