I'm a huge fan of the hitman, but the biggest mark for Bret has always been himself.

My only thought is that Vince was still butt hurt that Hogan "retired" and said it cause he wanted someone to have a longer reign than Hogan...

And Bret believed him...

If that’s true then he was a fool to believe it, especially as time went on. It’s not like they signed a guaranteed contract stating it. He should have known better.

When it comes to wrestlers I take whatever they say with a grain of salt, doesn't matter how long they've been retired.

So did they have Jey Uso come out to pretty much YEET? His stupid YEET lasted longer then his speech.

Jey Uso still seems so uncomfortable on the mic. He can't control his speech speed, volume, etc. Almost every promo seems like he has no idea what he's saying or where he's going (Michael Scott). He had a ton of runway to show he is more than an entrance song/catchphrase and I just don't think he has.

Watching him does not feel like "this is the guy fighting for the World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania".

It's Kofimania all over again. A guy way over with fans so will probably win the title at WM but afterwards there will be zero plans on what to do with him as champ and probably by SummerSlam drops the title.

Pretty much. We know he's only pushed because of that YEET chant. Its going to be so awful seeing him with the title. Hopefully it doesnt last long.

mehhh the whole build up to WM has been one of the weakest in decades. HHH knows people will tune in regardless so why bother ?

There isn’t a single story right now that has me hooked. 6 months ago, I couldn’t think of a story that didn’t have me hooked.

See The Miz and Joe Hendry were scheduled to have a feud coming out of the Royal Rumble. But because the WWE wanted to have Miz get the 1st win the former TNA VP director Ariel Shnerer rejected it.

Kind of stupid by TNA. Miz is a heel he cheats and gets a win vs Hendry. You can then set it up for were Miz challenges for the TNA title on a TNA PPV and Hendry clean pins the Miz. Would have helped TNA and Hendry as it would have been the biggest talent TNA got from WWE. Would have also helped introduce Hendry to more WWE fans who are just the casual viewer and don't watch TNA or NXT and would not really know him.

Having Cena Rock and Travis form a super group and then proceeding to not have Rock on a single show since really took the air out of the turn. Honestly what was even the point if Cena still goes into the match solo?

I saw a clip on YT yesterday of him going sneaker shopping.

Every other word was Yeet and Uce and I'm pretty sure he wasn't "in character"...

It was very hard to watch... And then he only bought 3 pairs of shoes

I have a feeling he loses at WM due to interference by Jimmy setting up a feud between the two through the summer months probably climaxing at Summer Slam.

I can see a scenario where Jimmy shows up and attacks Gunther getting Jey DQ'd and Jey being pissed off that Jimmy cost him his chance at the World Title. And I can also see a scenario with Jimmy attacking Jey blaming him for what Gunther did to him and saying Jey didn't deserve to be champion and that he chose the title match over family.

Your guess is as good as mine, but I knew from the jump that this Cena heel turn wasn’t going to be as epic as everyone made it out to be. The entire feud has been dull. I’ll go to my grave believing that the last 5 months was not penciled in for WM and the Rock bowing out changed everything.

I wouldn’t mind having one obv given value but I think it’s incredibly corny to do these patches and we are now basically at the point of manufactured game-worn items. These wouldn’t exist except for the specific purpose of these cards and imo ruins any suspension of disbelief if a “rebel” character comes in as how rebellious are you if you’re gonna wear the debut patch match one for the man? Lol
