Apparently The Rock's plane had to make an emergency landing on the way to the UFL opening game. Hopefully he drives to Las Vegas.

Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson revealed that his private plane, which was traveling from Hawaii to Houston for the United Football League's 2025 season opener, had a mechanical issue that forced the pilot to return.

On Thursday evening, The Rock's flight took off from Hawaii to Houston. About 35-40 minutes in the flight, The Rock said one of the pilots spoke with him and said it was unsafe for them to continue flying over the ocean due to issues with the plane. Essentially, the plane was dealing with "an hydraulics issue with overheating."

The Rock then said the pilot explained that there are some issues that can be worked out in the air and some issues where it's unsafe to take a chance, especially over the ocean.

The Rock also said he dealt with severe turbulence during the flight but was calmed down by the crew. The plane eventually landed, and The Rock noted how grateful he was for everyone involved in getting the plane back home.

Finishing Smackdown. The new ring announcer is annoying. Feels like he's trying too hard. Charlotte still has turn off the TV type heat. Imagine being gone for a year with a major injury coming back and still getting boo'd out the building after a babyface promo. That's how unlikeable she is.

Roman/Punk/Rollins closing night 1 is just so bizarre. It doesn't make sense to have a match with zero stakes ending the show. Like what's the payoff? What's the angle? There has to be more coming if it ends night 1.

Will be glad for the international tour to end though, some of the crowds are fun, some are really annoying when they take away from the show doing random chants and stopping the show. Like the crowd chanting Roman's name during the contract signing when he's talking and the same when Rollins was talking. Takes away from the show and stops being cute. (Them serenading him and Heyman joining was fun though)

Every match does not have to have some stakes as you say. But I expect something to be added before it happens. But it's the main event because the 3 guys in it are entertaining and will put on a good match. Jey and Gunther the build has been a snzooefest so instead of main event let it kick off WM the fans can mark out YEETING which starts out the show hot can put on some match like Priest and Drew to cool them down as that's a match that's just there to have them both on the card. Then after that bring out Tiffany and Flair to have the womens title. After that maybe a IC ladder match and last the triple threat match

Next night kick off with Womens triple threat, then KO vs Randy, US Title, Jade vs Namoi, Last Cena vs Cody

You are correct, every match doesn't have to have stakes to it. But the MAIN EVENT of WRESTLEMANIA? This isn't Rock vs Cena. It can't just be those 3 in a basic triple threat. And I never said Jey/Gunther should main event. I do agree it makes more sense to open the show because the crowd will be hot and Jey is one of the 3 most over guys in the company. Belair/Ripley/Sky would be a better main event honestly for night 1. I like Punk and Roman, but the match doesn't make sense closing unless more is coming. (and perhaps there is)

If they don't announce what the "favor" will be before the match that will probably be the selling point to see what happens and what Punk asks the favor to be during the match.

The WM Main Event lost it's specialness when they expanded to 2 nights. Whoever gets Night 1 Main Event means they just weren't as good/important as the Night 2 Main Event. IMO

Thus as stated Night 1 we get a match that might be great it basically has an outcome that means nothing but the winner being able to say they won a match. Night 2 everything is on the line for the future of the company. Cody wins he beats another level and moves a step closer to defeating The Final Boss and if Cena wins then the history of the sport is changed forever.

The fact that NEITHER Royal Rumble winner is NOT headlining EITHER night of Wrestlemania is a bit mind boggling to me...

Not that I wanna see Charlotte in another Main Event, but I figured Uso would get Night 1...

That was a rough segment to watch but at least they finally mentioned The Rock. The ending where Cena tried to attack Cody looked like Cena was in slow motion it didn't look good at all. Glad they finally got to something physical and hopefully the next 2 weeks we get more maybe even a Cody beat down the last Raw before WM by Cena and a returning Final Boss and Travis Scott.

this wrestlemania season has to be the worst we have seen in years. cena-cody has straight up sucked, they keep pushing gunther and that guy has nothing to give, womens matches are just becoming a mashup, and the triple threat is going nowhere. hopefully they come up with something to save this mess

I see they're trying their best to make ppl care about this Uso/Gunther match. (Not really working) The beatdown seemed to lag a bit too long for the fans there.

No surprise that Rhea/Iyo ended in a screwy finish. Now we just wait for them to announce the triple threat.

Im still not into the Cena/Cody feud.

WWE Booking Logic: Make someone double-champ you don't want to lose and have them vacate a title which always makes the next champ look weak imo when you could of just not had them become a double-champ.

I don't think she's undefeated either so an interference loss wouldn't of hurt, have her beat that person clean the next week so it shows she can't beat the actual champ without help and boom.

So was thinking the Miz and Wyatt Sick and Bliss not on card for WM. My idea Miz comes out complaining about not being on the show. Lights go out and the Wyatt’s come out to there entrance. They come down to the ring and lights come back on. Bliss standing behind the Miz. Miz turns to leave the ring and sees Bliss. He backs up is grabbed by Bo and hit with a sister Abigail. The Wyatts and Bliss stand tall over the Miz as they cut out.

Gives people who are not on the WM card something to do to be on the show and can start up the Wyatts going after the Miz program again.

What do you think of that idea?

Mehhh IMO the whole Bo Dallas carrying his brothers legacy was a nice feel good moment but honestly he just needs to go away and go back to selling Real Estate or whatever he was doing. Let Bliss take over the group if they want to continue. If not then release the other members and have Bliss do her own crazy Lilly character solo.

As for Miz he tries too hard to be comedy relief with his backstage stuff and the now and again Miz Tv appearances. Let him get new music and have a long serious IC title run or even the U.S. Title just to keep it off Dollar Store Stone Cold and Shinsuke.
